Destiny 2 All Episode Heresy Weapons (Episodic Weapons)

With the introduction of Episode Heresy, Guardians were able to get a glimpse of some of the new weapons brought by the arrival of the Dreadnaught and the activity that it holds.

Venturing into the Dreadnaught later allows you to obtain some of these new weapons, which include some of the more strategic weapons you may want to get your hands on.

Some of these weapons have become a hit and getting your hands on these with good rolls can help you blast through the episode.

How To Get Episodic Weapons?

Episodic Weapons can be obtained by delving into the new activity called The Nether, which sets the Guardian off exploring the Dreadnaught.

During the activity, you may obtain Episodic Weapons by defeating enemies, opening chests, and defeating bosses to unlock their rewards chests.

Another way to obtain Episodic Weapons is to use the Tome of Want, which allows you to start a Ritual of Desire that allows you to obtain specific rewards.

All Episodic Weapons

1) Abyssal Edge (Strand Sword)

The Abyssal Edge features powerful attacks that can be useful for close range, which features a Wave Sword Frame that allows you to unleash a Heavy attack.

Wave Sword Frame’s Heavy Attack deploys a shockwave uppercut that launches its wielder into the area which can be followed up with an immediate homing strike that seeks targets.

While most players are not used to this type of weapon due to its Wave Sword Frame, some find its ability to rise into the air and strike afterward as a good advantage.

2) Adamantite (Strand Auto Rifle)

This Strand Auto Rifle is a must for those who wish to support their team as it has the Support Frame, which is extremely useful in The Nether.

The Support Frame allows you to build a restorative charge, which allows you to fire at your allies to heal them during fights, including in The Nether.

While the range on this weapon may be a bit shorter than most rifles, you get the best of both worlds by being able to heal your allies and firing shots that seem to slightly track targets.

3) Eyes Unveiled (Void Linear Fusion Rifle)

Eyes Unveiled is a great Linear Fusion Rifle to have if you want to deal a good amount of damage and can be a replacement if you don’t have an Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle equipped.

This weapon syncs perfectly with some of the Artifact Perks that are available during Episode: Heresy and with the right rolls, you can dish out more damage.

Depending on the weapon rolls that you get, some of the traits for Eyes Unveiled make it great at dealing continuous heavy damage to your targets.

4) Psychopomp (Arc Grenade Launcher)

The Psychopomp features a new frame called the Area Denial Frame, which causes its projectiles to leave behind a lingering pool of impact.

The pool left by the projectiles will cause enemies within their area to take damage over time, making this a great way to damage groups of enemies.

Aside from damaging multiple enemies, the projectiles may be fired ahead of time for when enemies are chasing after you or escaping, setting them up to take additional damage.

5) Watchful Eye (Arc Machine Gun)

Watchful Eye is a great Machine Gun to have on hand if you don’t have a lot of continuous damage going on as it can easily shred groups of enemies.

Along with traits such as Jolting Feedback, this can be a great way to make enemies easy targets while shooting it at bosses can deal a good amount of damage.

Since Episode: Heresy has plenty of Arc Artifact Perks, having the Watchful Eye as a replacement for any Exotic Heavy Ammo items can be a good way to fight your way through enemies.

Episodic Weapon Origin Trait

Willing Vessel

Episodic Weapons have the Willing Vessel Origin Trait, which causes them to have increased stability, handling, reload speed, and charge rates when damaging or defeating targets.

Willing Vessel will apply the mentioned bonus stats depending on what weapon is being used and will only affect weapons if they have the said stats.

The effects of Willing Vessel will gradually decrease over time but are also quickly gained when you are near your allies.

Verdict

The Episodic Weapons are easy to obtain once you get the hang of the new Nether activity as there are multiple instances where they may drop.

Some of the most popular Episodic Weapons right now are the Adamantite for its Strand Damage and its healing capabilities while the Psychopomp is great for its area of effect.

Once you start collecting these weapons and get good rolls on them, you can easily take advantage of their uses combined with the Artifact Perks that may affect them.
