Jade Shadows is a quest that was introduced in Update 36.0, which included the addition of a new Warframe that goes by the name Jade.
The quest takes place after The New War where you take control of Stalker, who attempts to save someone close to him from his past.
During the events of this quest, players discover a secret about Stalker and what unfolds afterward may change the Origin System forever.

How To Get the Jade Shadows Quest?
The Jade Shadows quest was added on 6/18/2024 and from there on became available to players once they logged into the game.
You will have to have completed The New War before you can start this quest and may find it in your Codex aboard your Orbiter if it doesn’t activate right away.
Jade Shadows Quest Walkthrough
The Lair

The quest begins with a cinematic showing how Stalker was saved by an unknown Warframe, who is later revealed to be Jade and it appears that she has become sick.
You take control of Stalker and will need to follow a trace of feathers that have a green glow around them, which eventually leads you to Jade, who is lying on a bed.
After discovering that Jade is dying, Stalker refuses to seek help from the Tenno and decides to search for his way. (You will need to head to the ship marked by a waypoint)
Anything But That

Once you have gone aboard Stalker’s ship, the mission called Anything But That begins and you will be aboard a Corpus Ship to do a Spy mission.
You will have to complete 4 hacks aboard the ship but will be using Stalker, who is overpowered and will instantly be able to hack everything.
Hacking each terminal will provide you with Bioplasma and once all 4 terminals have been hacked, you will need to return to your ship.
Mistreatment

Once you reach The Lair, you will make your way to Jade once more and Stalker will attempt to provide treatment once you interact with her.
The treatment fails and this compels Stalker to finally give in and seek help from the Operator but just as he makes his way to his ship, Corpus enemies arrive.
These Corpus enemies have followed Stalker to the Lair and before leaving on his Ship, they must all be killed.
To Catch A Tenno

Stalker arrives at the Operator’s Orbiter and Ordis detects the breach, which requires that you control Stalker and avoid being detected by Ordis.
Ordis will patrol the ship in search of the intruder and will go around the same location before opening the door to the Operator, allowing you to get inside.
You will need to go behind Ordis and follow him until he reaches the door and quickly go inside once he moves away.
The Ancestor

After meeting with the Operator in a slightly aggressive manner, they agreed to work together to save Jade and the Operator has sent Stalker to Eris.
You will need to control Stalker and search for a Juggernaut Behemoth and must kill it to obtain Cortichrome, which gives the Corpus an idea of what the Stalker might be up to.
After defeating the Juggernaut Behemoth, you will need to extract from the derelict that you are aboard to head back to The Lair.
The Impossible

Upon reaching the Lair, you will need to head to Jade (using Stalker) and interact with her but it is revealed that Jade is still being drained and is no longer fighting what is killing her.
Jade later reveals that she is pregnant by opening her cloak after Stalker urges the Operator to continue trying to save her.
A mini-game will begin after the Operator uses Transference, which requires that you press the assigned button on time. (The quest progresses regardless of the results)
Escape

Stalker holds Jade’s hand as she begins to disappear but picks up what appears to be an infant, which Stalker grabs along with his Scythe which is now empowered with Jade’s light.
You will need to make your way to the surface by following the waypoint, which takes you to a lift that brings you there.
Upon reaching the surface, Corpus forces will be waiting and you will need to push through them as Stalker holds the infant in one hand.
The Corpus captain orders them to stop firing after she hears the infant cry and they allow Stalker to leave after what they have witnessed.
Past and Future

The scene changes to Stalker arriving at Lua, where he gets flashbacks of himself (previously known as Sorren) and Jade.
He remembers that he was to protect his family, which he is now doing by taking the infant and keeping it from harm.
This scene gives you a choice to name the infant Sirius or Orian, which later changes Stalker’s light and concludes the quest.
Jade Shadows Quest Rewards
After choosing a name for the infant, the quest will be complete and once you are back at your Orbiter as the Operator, you will receive the following rewards in your inbox:
- Jade Blueprint
- Stalker’s Lair Scene
- Alone Portrait
- United Portrait
- Protector Portrait
Verdict
It seems that the Stalker was different in the past and was known as Sorren, a loving partner to Jade who is now taking up the responsibility of protecting their child.
After hearing the child cry, the Corpus captain was shocked and had the Corpus forces stop, which may have just saved all of them from being killed by Stalker.
With a child Warframe born, it seems that this may have a new effect on the whole Origin System as the impossible may just have happened.
