Exploring some of the missions in Hollvania will result in you discovering the location of Techrot Safes, which can be opened to obtain rewards.
These won’t be like regular chests that require you to interact with them as you will need to find a key that opens them, which is referred to as a Safe Biocode.
Opening these safes will result in you obtaining useful rewards such as Hex Treasures and the Arcanes that were introduced in the Warframe 1999 update.
How To Find Techrot Safes?
Techrot Safes will become visible on your map once you have come within range of them, which will cause their icon to appear both on the map and as a waypoint.
The icon will appear in a pinkish-white color and will continue to mark the location of the Techrot Safe until you get out of range.
How To Open Techrot Safes?
Once you have found a Techrot Safe in one of your missions, you will need to look for the Safe Biocode but this won’t be marked on your map.
To find the Safe Biocode, you will need to rely on your map and find it just as you would if you have any other type of loot in a mission.
A good way to search for a Safe Biocode would be to destroy all the loot containers near the Techrot Safes until you find them since the other items are automatically picked up.
If you have gone through an area and destroyed the crates while looting everything, you should find the Safe Biocode marked on your map as loot since it has been left behind.
You will need to approach the Safe Biocode and interact with it to pick it up and bring it back to the Techrot Safe to open it.
If you are using the Parallax Landing Craft, you can make use of its Air Support Ability (Orokin Eye) to highlight special items in a 150-meter radius, including the Safe Biocode.
Another option would be to use Golden Instinct, an ability available from the Helminth that will send out a Void Spark that will lead you to nearby special items such as the Safe Biocode.
Techrot Safe Rewards
Opening a Techrot Safe will reward you with Hollars, the currency in Warframe 1999 (Credits) along with a random Hex Treasure and one of the Arcanes from Warframe 1999.
The Hollars will be picked up upon opening the safe while the Hex Treasure will be dropped on the ground, leaving the Arcane as Unidentified until you complete the mission.
Verdict
Techrot Safes are a good way to farm the Arcanes that were introduced in Warframe 1999 and will ensure that you get a Hex Treasure to drop.
Most of these won’t always be available at the beginning of a mission and will often be in the middle or near the end after you have progressed.
Searching for the Safe Biocode is easy if you have mods equipped that reveal loot on your map and if you can easily clear out multiple containers while rushing through the mission.
