Nekros is a necromancer-themed Warframe who commands the power of death, capable of manipulating both the living and the dead to his advantage.
His abilities allow him to instill fear in enemies, summon fallen foes to fight alongside him, and even increase loot drops from defeated enemies.
Many players consider Nekros one of the most essential Warframes in farming setups, while also being a solid choice for crowd control and survivability in tougher missions.
How To Get Nekros?
Nekros is available for 375 Platinum but may also be crafted if you purchase his main blueprint and obtain his components needed to craft it.
Nekros Blueprint
You may purchase the Nekros Main Blueprint for 100,000 Credits, which may be done by accessing the in-game market.
Nekros Components
The Nekros Components can be obtained as drops from defeating Lephantis in the Magnacidium mission located on Deimos.

Nekros Abilities
Passive Ability
Nekros causes each enemy that dies within 10 meters of him to regenerate 5 health for him and his companions.
1) Soul Punch
Nekros unleashes a powerful blow, which unleashes a deadly projectile that damages all of the enemies in its path.
Enemies that survive the blow are Marked for Harvest, which will cause them to become one of Nekros’ Shadows of the Dead if they are killed while marked.
Soul Punch (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 25 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Range | 20 Meters | Ability Range |
Damage | 100 Impact | Ability Strength |
Augment Mods:
- Soul Survivor allows Nekros to use Soul Punch on an ally when they are downed, reviving them with a portion of their health. Obtained from The Perrin Sequence/Red Veil.
2) Terrify
Nekros casts fear into the hearts of enemies within a certain radius around them, reducing their armor and forcing them to run away.
This ability is a useful way to apply crowd control in an area, turning attackers away and allowing you to attack them.
Terrify (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 75 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Radius | 5 Meters | Ability Range |
Duration | 10 Seconds | Ability Duration |
| Enemies Affected | 7 | Ability Strength |
Armor Reduction | 30% | Ability Strength |
Augment Mods:
- Creeping Terrify causes Terrify to also reduce the Movement Speed of enemies that are affected by the ability. Obtained from The Perrin Sequence/Red Veil.
3) Desecrate
Toggling this ability causes Nekros to create an aura around him that causes enemies within its range to be forced to drop additional loot.
Each corpse has a chance to drop additional loot, making Nekros efficient at farming when more enemies have fallen.
Desecrate (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 10 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Energy/Enemy | 10 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
Radius | 10 Meters | Ability Range |
| Extra Loot | 54% | N/A |
Augment Mods:
- Despoil alters Desecrate to consume health instead of energy for each corpse. Obtained from The Perrin Sequence/Red Veil.
4) Shadows of the Dead
Nekros summons Shadow Copies of the enemies that he has vanquished, who will fight beside him for a period of time.
This provides Nekros with backup when in missions, increasing the amount of damage that enemies take as well as keeping them busy.
Shadows of the Dead (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 100 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Enemies Affected | 7 | N/A |
Damage Multiplier | 2.5x | Ability Strength |
| Health Multiplier | 2x | Ability Strength |
Shield Multiplier | 2x | Ability Strength |
| Health Decay/Second | 3% | Ability Duration |
Augment Mods:
- Shield of Shadows causes each shadow within a certain range of Nekros to absorb a portion of the damage that would otherwise be dealt to him, effectively reducing the damage he takes. Obtained from The Perrin Sequence/Red Veil.
Verdict
Nekros stands out as both a farming powerhouse and a versatile Warframe capable of offering strong crowd control and survivability.
His Desecrate ability makes him invaluable for resource farming, while Terrify and Shadows of the Dead give him defensive and offensive options in combat.
Whether used for farming, defense, or tank-style gameplay, Nekros remains one of the most reliable and unique Warframes in the game when built and used properly.
