The AX-52 is a pre-Orokin weapon that resembles an AK-47, which was showcased in the Warframe 1999 Demo and became available during the Warframe 1999 update.
This simple yet deadly rifle has a way of giving its user comfort when firing depending on how they attempt to blast their targets.
It features the ability to conserve ammo or gain an increase in Critical Chance depending on whether you aim the weapon or fire from the hip.

The AX-52 is like most rifles and features great accuracy and a decent fire rate along with a good starting Critical Chance that can further be improved with mods.
It also has an acceptable Status Chance that may be useful for Hybrid or Status builds depending on how you plan to use the weapon.

AX-52 Unique Traits
When firing from the hip, the AX-52 will have 60% Ammo Efficiency, allowing you to fire more rounds at the cost of less ammo.
Aiming with the AX-52 and landing headshots will provide you with a 400% increased Critical Chance per shot, allowing you to deal more damage to your targets.
How to Get AX-52?
The AX-52 can be built right away once you obtain its Main Blueprint, which can be purchased from Amir at the Hollvania Central Mall.
Purchasing the Main Blueprint will cost 30,000 Standing and you are at least Rank 4 – Hot & Fresh with The Hex syndicate.

Unlike most weapons, the AX-52 does not require any components and may instead be crafted right away once you have its Main Blueprint and the resources it needs.

As a repurposed Scaldra weapon, the AX-52 may not seem to be that much, especially since it is old technology but this weapon can do wonders when modded right.
Taking advantage of the high Critical Chance provided by aimed headshots can help take down certain enemies while the conserved ammo with hip firing can easily be used to suppress targets.
Depending on your build with the AX-52, you can either weaken enemies or aim to finish them off at different ranges based on the mods that you have equipped.
