The H-09 Efervon Tank is a boss that was introduced in the Warframe 1999 update, which is a hybrid combination of both Scaldra and Techrot.
This tank is the target at Victory Plaza (Assassination Mission) in Hollvania, which you can start from the NavNow (Navigation) or as one of the Bounties in the Hollvania Central Mall.
Fighting the H-09 Efervon Tank requires you to fight your way through barricades before you can attempt to destroy this target.
Where To Find H-09 Efervon Tank?
Starting the Victory Plaza Mission will have you starting outside of the barricaded areas, which requires you to make your way through each of them to reach the boss.
You will need to fight your way through enemies, obtain Emergency Transponders, summon Stormfall Units, and obtain their Thermian RPGs to use against the barricades.
After destroying the second barricade, entering the final area will have you encounter the H-09 Efervon Tank and the boss battle begins shortly after it appears.
How To Defeat H-09 Efervon Tank
Phase 1
The first phase of the battle with the H-09 Efervon Tank requires that you shoot the Efervon Vents that cover its hull and skirts.
These vents can easily be taken out with ranged attacks but the use of slam attacks with a wide radius work too and different approaches.
Once you have destroyed 6 out of 8 of the vents, the tank will become vulnerable and you will now be able to damage it with other attacks.
Using your regular weapons won’t do much though and instead, you may rely on the Thermian RPGs that are dropped by certain enemies that join the fight.
This needs to be done twice to take out both of the H-09 Efervon Tank’s health bars and afterwards, you will need to interact with it to attempt to destroy the tank.
Phase 2
After interacting with the H-09 Efervon Tank and forcing its turret to fire into its hull, which later causes the tank to morph into its Techrot form.
Once this happens, the tank will have 3 health bars and glowing growths will appear on the tanks, which need to be destroyed to damage it.
Every time a health bar is taken out, the tank will go into a healing phase and this has a timer that is represented by the green bar below its health.
During the healing phase, Techrot units will attempt to heal the tank and you can prevent this by killing them before they restore a large amount of its health.
Once the timer has run out for its healing phase, you can continue attacking the weak spots on the tank again and repeat this until it is destroyed.
H-09 Efervon Tank Drops
The H-09 Efervon Tank will drop a pickup that will give you an Unidentified Item, which will be one of the Arcanes that have been added in the Warframe 1999 update.
The Arcane that you receive will be random and this will only be revealed once you have successfully extracted from the mission.
One of the following can be rewarded ( all have 12.50% drop chance) from defeating the H-09 Efervon Tank:

- Melee Doughty
- Secondary Enervate
- Primary Crux

Verdict
The H-09 Efervon Tank is a hybrid of both Scaldra and Techrot, giving it different weaknesses and resistances depending on its form but this is not much of an issue.
It is important to be able to deal a large amount of damage to the weak spots in each form as this is what will damage the tank and eventually allow you to destroy it.
The Victory Plaza mission and the variant from the Bounties Board provide you with a way to obtain 2 Arcanes per run, which include one from the Techrot Safe and another from the boss.
