The Fallen are using Praksis’s armor tech to create a weapon capable of channeling Stasis energy and The Drifter has come up with a solution to prevent them from using it.

You will need to investigate the whereabouts of this newly created weapon and take it from the Fallen before they can distribute it amongst their ranks.

This quest contains the “Stealing Stasis” mission which allows you to obtain the Salvation’s Grip Exotic Grenade Launcher.

How To The Stasis Prototype Quest?

You can claim The Stasis Prototype quest by speaking with The Drifter who will tell you about a weapon the Fallen has made to channel darkness.

Step 1: Defeat Fallen Captains and Servitors on Europa to Collect Intel

The Drifter wants you to gather intel on Fallen weapons as he inspects a blueprint that you previously have found.

You will need to defeat a certain amount of Fallen Captains and Servitors to obtain the Weapons Intel that they drop.

  • Defeat 10 Fallen Captains
  • Defeat 10 Servitors

Step 2: Defeat One of Eramis’s Council Members in an Empire Hunt

You have found some briefs indicating that a Stasis weapon effort is being led by a high-ranking Fallen lieutenant. You will need to take them down in order to gain information on the whereabouts of the experimental Stasis weapon.

Step 3: Eliminate Combatants With, Or Affected by Your Stasis Abilities

The intel that you have discovered suggests the Stasis weapon is being held in the Fallen city and The Drifter wants you to find a way in.

To prepare for learning how to use the new experimental Stasis weapon, you will need to practice Stasis using your abilities.

This means that you will need to defeat enemies affected by Stasis or defeat them with Stasis entirely.

Step 4: Rendezvous with Spider’s Associate in the Concealed Void Lost Sector

The Drifter has contacted you, letting you know that Spider is sending one of his associates to meet with you to hand you Skiff codes.

These will disguise your ship to make it appear as a Skiff, allowing you to sneak into the back area of the Fallen city.

You will need to meet Spider’s associate in the Concealed Void Lost Sector to obtain the Skiff codes from her.

Step 5: Visit The Drifter in the Annex

Now that you have the Skiff codes, you are ready to head to the Fallen city to take the experimental weapon from the Fallen.

Before anything, you will need to first visit The Drifter who wishes to give you a critical component.

Step 6: Complete the Stealing Stasis Mission

It’s time for you to go after the Stasis weapon prototype, you will need to complete the Stealing Stasis mission to obtain the weapon.

The Stealing Stasis mission can be found near Variks at Charon’s Crossing on Europa, which you can simply fast-travel to from the Destinations tab and select Europa.

Step 7: Visit The Drifter in the Annex

You have successfully acquired the Stasis weapon from the Fallen and The Drifter would like to take a look at it.

During the Stealing Stasis mission, you will be able to obtain the Salvation’s Grip Exotic Grenade launcher it will be yours to keep.
