How To Get All Barrow-Dyad Catalysts in Destiny 2

Upon completion of the Derealize Exotic Mission while taking on a questline called The Taken Path; you end up with the Barrow Dyad.

This weapon later showed great potential, especially when combined with certain builds along with the Artifact Perks during Episode: Heresy.

What makes the weapon even better is that you may unlock different Catalysts that can be equipped when reshaping the Exotic Strand Submachine Gun.

All Barrow Dyad Catalysts

1) High-Impact Reserves Refit

High-Impact Reserves cause the rounds at the end of Barrow-Dyad’s magazine to deal more damage to your targets.

Obtaining the High-Impact Reserves Refit can be done by getting your hands on the Sharp Osseous Spine, which is required to obtain the Exotic Quest for the Catalyst.

You will need to complete the Court of Blades on Expert Difficulty and have a Submachine Gun equipped before the activity is complete. (You can switch at the last minute)

This will provide you with the Sharp Osseous Spine that may be traded for A Needle’s Path (Exotic Quest) and completing it will reward you with the Catalyst.

2) Hatchling Refit

One of the earlier Catalysts for the Barrow Dyad that became unlockable is the Hatchling Refit, which provides you with the chance to spawn Threadlings.

With this Catalyst equipped, precision final blows and rapidly defeating targets with the Barrow-Dyad will cause Threadlings to spawn at the target’s location.

Obtaining the Hatchling Refit is done by opening the secret portal in the Trenchway (Rite of the Deep Tithe Found Worthy) to get the Heavy Osseous Spine.

The Heavy Osseous Spine can be traded for an Exotic Quest called A Hammer’s Path at the Shaping Slab, which can be completed to get Hatchling Refit.

3) One For All Refit

The One For All Refit is perfect for fighting groups of combatants, it causes the Barrow-Dyad to have an increase in damage after hitting three separate targets.

To get the One For All Refit, you will first need to complete The Sunless Cell Strike with a Submachine Gun equipped to get the Trembling Osseous Spine.

The Trembling Osseous Spine may be brought to the Shaping Slab and can be traded for the Exotic Quest called A Hundredfold Path.

A Hundredfold Path requires you to find all the Tithing Wormspawns in the nether and later complete The Sunless Cell Strike with weapons that have a high fire rate.

4) Target Lock Refit

The Target Lock The Target Lock Refit causes the damage of the Barrow-Dyad to increase the longer the weapon remains on a target.

To get the Target Lock Refit, you will need to obtain the Warped Osseous Spine, which can be done by finding all Coalescences of the Knife and opening a portal.

The portal can be found in the Hull Breach location, and this will lead you to a chest that has the Warped Osseous Spine, which can be traded for A Silken Path. (Exotic Quest)

This quest requires that you find all the Ravenous Wormspawns and complete the Derealize Exotic mission with the Barrow-Dyad equipped.

How To Equip Barrow-Dyad Catalysts?

Once a Catalyst has been unlocked for the Barrow-Dyad, you may equip it by heading to the Relic at The Enclave found on Savathun’s Throne World.

You can Shape a new Barrow-Dyad or Reshape an existing one that you have and may select the different perks for it, including which Catalyst it will use.

Verdict

The Barrow-Dyad is a useful weapon to have in both PVE and PVP situations depending on what Catalysts you use and what build you have.

Some Guardians have reached the point where they have built more than one Barrow-Dyad and have equipped it with different perks and Catalysts.

Obtaining all of Barrow-Dyad’s Catalysts mainly involves progress with Episode: Heresy and can easily be completed within less than a day or a few.
