Palworld 1.0 World Settings

Palworld gives you plenty of control over how your world plays, letting you adjust everything from progression speed and survival mechanics to combat and resource gathering.

The game includes several difficulty presets, but you can also customize individual settings if you want more control over how challenging or convenient your world becomes.

Whether you want a tougher survival experience or simply want to reduce some of the game’s grind, changing the right settings can make a big difference.

What Do World Settings Do?

World Settings control many of the rules and mechanics that determine how your Palworld world plays, including combat, EXP, resource gathering, survival, and Pal management.

When you select a difficulty preset, the game automatically adjusts many of these settings for you, giving you a ready-made setup without having to change each option individually.

Selecting Custom allows you to modify the individual settings yourself, so you can keep some mechanics challenging while making others more convenient for the way you want to play.

Verdict

Palworld’s World Settings give you enough control to shape the game around the experience you actually want, whether that means more challenge or less grinding.

The difficulty presets are a good starting point, while Custom difficulty is the better choice when you want to fine-tune individual mechanics without changing everything else.

With so many settings available, you can create a world that feels closer to your preferred playstyle instead of being locked into a single difficulty setup.
