One of the many things for you to do in Destiny 2 after The Edge of Fate was released is to find certain Data Pads, and one of the sets is the Solo Data Pads.
These can be found in Solo Ops activities, which can be accessed from the Portal, and these need to be found to complete challenges for Weeks 1, 2, and 3.
As you explore certain Solo Ops activities, you will eventually encounter these, but to make things easier, we have put this guide for you to easily track them down.
Solo Data Pad Search Part 1 Locations
Skywatch
In the Skywatch activity, you will be fighting your way through Fallen enemies, and once you reach the Skywatch Restricted Area, the Data Pad will be nearby.
Leaving the Lunar Complex will take you to an exit that leads to the Restricted area, but before you go outside, turn around, and you will see the Data Pad on top of a barrel.
The Salt Mines
While making your way through the Salt Mines activity, you will eventually have to drop down to an area that allows you to continue your way to the next objective.
As you make your way to the ledge, you will be able to spot the Data Pad on top of a crate near a cliff that you can safely jump down to.
Kepler
While exploring Kepler, a Data Pad can be found when you start from Caldera and make your way to The Stacks.
Once you enter the passage that has a flag outside, you will find the Data Pad to the right side, which is later replaced with a Matterspark Portal.
Solo Data Pad Search Part 2 Locations
The Conflux
After progressing past the large room that you encounter near the start of the activity, proceed making your way to where a portal can be found.
Before going into the portal, turn to your left, and you should find the Data Pad lying on some rubble above the Radiolaria.
Solo Data Pad Search Part 3 Locations
K1 Logistics
While you are in K1 Logistics, you will eventually make your way to a cargo hold where vehicles can be found before going to the final area.
If you head around to the destroyed terminal room, you will find the Data Pad on top of some debris, which is also visible through the glass.
Creation
After clearing the first objective in Creation, you will head to a large hangar that requires you to destroy Vex crystals and make your way to the end.
Before you drop down to where the first crystal is located, head towards the left, and you will find the Data Pad behind a crate.
Verdict
Solo Data Pad Search 1 to 3 each require you to find Data Pads in certain locations, and once found, these do not need to be obtained for other characters.
Keep an eye out when you are going through the activities where Data Pads can be found, because once you are near them, they will be marked.
Collecting all of the Data Pads to complete Solo Data Pad Search 1 up to 3 is a great way to obtain tons of XP from the weekly challenges.
