Quantum Substances are categorized under the list of Substrates that can be obtained while you are exploring Kepler.
These become valuable once you have progressed throughout the season and are necessary for certain purchases at the Altar of Relativity or resetting Mysteries in a region.
Obtaining these can be a bit tedious, as you’ll never know when the enemy that drops a certain Substrate may appear, making exploring the different regions necessary.
How To Get All Quantum Substances?
Quantum Substances drop from specific enemies that you may defeat, which can be found in certain regions across Kepler.
Defeating these special enemies will cause them to drop a Quantum Substance related to their name, which gives you a hint of which one they drop.
The following are the Quantum Substances as well as the combatants that drop them, along with their locations.
- Quantum Substance (Word-Bearer) – dropped by Word-Bearer Shanks found in the Stacks and Augur’s Bethel.
- Quantum Substance (Assimilation Scout) – dropped by Assimilation Scouts found in the Caldera and the Stellar Sink.
- Quantum Substance (Well of the Archon) – dropped by Well of the Archon Servitors found in the Curtilage Divide and the Outer Steppes.
- Quantum Substance (Polus) – dropped by Polus, the Singular Volley, who spawns in the Assimilated Easement and Aionian Campus.
Quantum Substance Uses
Depending on the current Daily Region, different Quantum Substances may be used at the Altar of Relativity.
1) Purchasing Equipment
Opening the Focused Decoding menu when accessing the Altar of Relativity will allow you to view items that can be purchased.
Under the Daily Purchases, you will find a specific weapon that can be purchased using a Quantum Substance, and the type varies every day.
2) Reactivating Mysteries
If you have already solved all the mysteries in a certain region by opening their Kepler Ability Chests (Red Chests), you can reset these using Quantum Substances.
Depending on which Daily Region is active in the Altar of Relativity, you will need a specific Quantum Substance to reactivate mysteries in that region.
