The Gorge Strangelet is a quest that is obtainable once you have reached Quest Step 22 with The Edge of Fate seasonal quest.
Upon reaching Quest Step 22, your objective will be to claim this quest from the Altar of Relativity, the search for the last capsule.
The Gorge Strangelet Quest Steps (Objectives)
Step 1: Find and speak with Orin in the Gorge
After getting a heads up from Orin and some talk with her and Drifter, you will need to make your way to Orin’s location in the Gorge.
This will require you to head to the entrance and interact with the terminal, which will make the Gorge accessible, allowing you to go to Orin and speak with her.
Step 2: Clear a path to the final Strangelet Capsule by destroying the Vex Minds
The Vex Minds are refining The Nine’s power, and you will need to intervene with their plans while also protecting the collective from degradation.
To do this, you will need to first acquire Accelerons from the “Surveillance” encounter to unlock the “Disruption” mission and “Siphon” encounter to unlock the “Calculus” mission.
Completing the Disruption mission and Calculus mission will allow you to progress to the next objective in this quest.
- Surveillance – Defeat Sentinel of the Conductor by destroying Vex Cubes, which can be destroyed after defeating the combatants near them.
