When you are out exploring the Palpagos Islands, you may sometimes need a little boost when it comes to the heights that you can reach.
One way to get higher or even dodge attacks would be to perform a jump in midair, which can help you reach certain areas or even save you from a deadly fall.
To make this possible, you will need to get your hands on the Double Jump Boots, an accessory that can be equipped after you have unlocked and crafted it.
How To Unlock and Craft Double Jump Boots?
As soon as your character reaches Level 39, you will be able to unlock the Double Jump Boots from your Technology Menu.
These boots will be under the Ancient Technology section of the menu and will require 2 Ancient Technology Points to unlock.
After you have unlocked the Double Jump Boots, they may be crafted at a High Quality Workbench or better crafting station.
You will need the following materials to craft the Double Jump Boots:
- 30 Refined Ingot
- 50 Paldium Fragment
- 20 Nightstar Sand
Double Jump Boots Uses
The Double Jump Boots give your character the ability to perform a midair jump or the ability to “double jump” when the accessory is equipped.
This gives you more movement when it comes to reaching certain heights or breaking your fall if you dismount or run off a cliff or platform and are about to drop from high areas.
Pressing the “Jump” key/button will allow you to perform another jump while you are in midair at any time and once you have landed, you can immediately double jump again.
How To Equip Double Jump Boots?
Once you have crafted the Double Jump Boots, open your inventory and drag it into one of your accessory slots or swap it with a currently equipped accessory.
The Double Jump Boots’ effect will take place whenever you perform a jump while in midair as long as they are equipped in one of your accessory slots.
If you want to prevent the Double Jump feature, you may simply remove the Double Jump Boots from the accessory slot that it has been equipped into.
Verdict
Some players find that their characters’ jump lacks a certain height and thanks to the Double Jump Boots, you can jump even higher with your character.
Since the Double Jump can only be performed once per jump/fall, you will need to time it right, or else if you jump too early, you may fall to your death.
The Double Jump Boots can be perfect for exploring, and breaking your fall or may even be used to avoid some of your enemies’ attacks in a fight.
