Palworld has a lot of different weapons to choose from when it comes to fighting enemies that you encounter as you explore and one of the strongest was introduced in the Feybreak Update.
The Plasma Cannon is a late-game advanced weapon that is capable of firing two shots per magazine, unleashing devastating damage comparable to the Rocket Launcher.
This allows you to easily deal bursts of damage to groups of enemies from a distance, making it easier to stay safe while destroying your targets.
How To Unlock and Craft Plasma Cannon?
The Plasma Cannon can only be unlocked after reaching Level 60, which is the maximum level for characters as of the Feybreak Update.
Once you have reached Level 60, you may unlock the Plasma Cannon from your Technology Menu and may craft it at a Weapon Assembly Line II.
The following materials are required to craft a Plasma Cannon:
- 150 Plasteel
- 130 Hexolite
- 200 Carbon Fiber
- 100 Circuit Board
Plasma Cannon Features
Each magazine of the Plasma Cannon allows you to fire two shots before it needs to be reloaded and each of its projectiles can damage multiple targets.
When fired, the Plasma Cannon unleashed a projectile that has a small area of effect, which causes nearby enemies to also take damage upon impact.
Projectiles from this weapon may travel a great distance with good accuracy and with a base attack of 10,000 along with any bonuses from stats, this weapon is capable of one-hitting targets.
Plasma Cannons require the Plasma Cartridge ammunition, which can be a bit costly at first as each time you craft it requires Hexolite.
Plasma Cannon Schematic Locations
The Uncommon Plasma Cannon Schematic is known to drop in Feybreak Dungeons while the Rare, Epic, and Legendary Plasma Cannon Schematics drop from Level 60 Oil Rig Chests.
It would be better to farm the Level 60 Oil Rigs for a better chance at getting higher-quality schematics since these provide even more damage.

Crafting a Plasma Cannon based on schematics that you find will cost you more materials but this is considered to be worth it due to the additional damage of the weapon.
Verdict
When it comes to dealing damage to single targets or small groups of enemies, the Plasma Cannon comes in first place due to its massive damage output.
While you only have 2 shots per magazine, the weapon does not take too long to reload and most enemies won’t be standing most of the time after getting shot.
The Legendary Plasma Cannon is an extremely useful endgame weapon and finding the schematic for it on the Level 60 Oil Rig can be a huge game changer.
