Unlocking the Guided Missile Launcher can be done once your character has reached Level 55 and this can be done by accessing the Technology Menu.
Once you have reached Level 55, you will need to spend 3 Technology Points to unlock the Guided Missile Launcher, which will allow you to craft it at a Weapon Assembly Line II.

The Guided Missile Launcher functions similarly to the Rocket Launcher but instead, it files a projectile that tracks down the nearest target it can find.
This can be helpful when you are on the move and need to fire a missile at enemies and continue by reloading as you relocate.
The base attack of the Guided Missile Launcher is 5900 and compared to the Rocket Launcher, this may be a little over half its damage.
The good thing about its projectiles is that they also deal damage in a large area and since they track targets, it can be easy to shoot around cover.

The Guided Missile Launcher Schematics can be obtained by raiding the Level 55 and Level 60 Oilrigs and opening the Greater Chests found around them.
There are different qualities when it comes to schematics, which include Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary ones, and the better the quality, the more damage they deal.
