During the early stages of the game, most players will start with the Old Bow or the Crossbow when it comes to dealing ranged damage.
A new bow was added with the release of Palworld’s Feybreak Update and you can now upgrade to using the Compound Bow to deal with even more damage.
While progression will be required, unlocking the Compound Bow and using it to progress quickly can be done as early as the time you reach Level 32.
How To Unlock and Craft Compound Bow?
The Compound Bow may be unlocked once you have reached Level 32, which allows you to unlock the weapon from your Technology Menu.
Crafting a Compound Bow may be done at a Weapon Assembly Line I or higher structures such as a Weapon Assembly Line II.

- 40 Fiber

Compound Bows work similarly to any other bow, but they have an increased amount of damage, which is quite a boost when you are at Level 32.
This bow uses Reinforced Arrows, which are also unlocked at Level 32 as they are the only ammunition designed specifically for the Compound Bow.

Compound Bow Schematics can be obtained from the Forest Dungeon or Sanctuary, but these all have a certain drop chance.
Obtaining the Legendary Compound Bow is the most difficult due to its low drop chance, which will often require multiple runs of such activities.

Featuring a high amount of damage, the Compound Bow is one of the early weapons that you can get to quickly take out enemies thanks to the high amount of damage.
What makes bows such as this weapon useful is that crafting their ammunition comes cheap and those who tend to score headshots can save up on ammo since they quickly take out targets.
While the Compound Bow does a good amount of damage as an Uncommon weapon, obtaining Schematics to craft better versions can make a huge difference.
