During the previous ritual at the Tree of Whispers, Ouna ran off and now Gelena and Caidin need to find out where she has gone to.
Gelena has done some searching but it appears that Ouna keeps shifting from one place to another and clues will need to be found.
You and Gelena will take point and try to track down where the witch has run off to before she causes more trouble.
Adrift in the Doldrums Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest begins, you will need to speak to Gelena at The Tree of Whispers, where she and Caidin will inform you about what they know.
Your next destination will be in Hawezar at the Umir Plateau as there is a certain location that Ouna has repeatedly visited.
A fast way to reach the marked area would be to teleport to Zarbinzet and head west, where Gelena will be waiting for you.
Upon heading to the entrance, it will be blocked and you will need to search for a Shrouded Charm and interact with it to destroy it.
Once the Shrouding Charm has been destroyed, the illusion that hides the entrance to the Ouna’s Hideout will no longer hide it.
A Mysterious Voice may be heard within Ouna’s Hideout and as you proceed making your way further inside, Headrotten enemies will ambush you.
You will need to defeat all of the Headrotten in the area before continuing your search for Ouna and there will only be a few waves of enemies to kill.
Once you have defeated all of the enemies in the area, the source of the Mysterious Voice must be found and you can start by interacting with the nearby talisman.
After interacting with the talisman, approaching the head will cause it to speak, claiming that you are not Ouna. (This means she knows her)
Gelena will question the head (Lilia, Fugitive Head) but she will claim to not remember and this results in Gelena having to bring the head back to the Tree of Whispers.
After the conversation between Gelena and Lilia’s Head, you are instructed to seek out more Whispers while Gelena returns to The Tree of Whispers. (Quest ends here)
Adrift in the Doldrums Quest Rewards
After clearing out the enemies in Ouna’s Hideout and speaking with Lilia, Fugitive Head, you will be rewarded with XP and Gold based on your current level.
You will be able to proceed to the next Seasonal Quest called “A Witch’s Choice” after completing the Whispers in the Wind repeatable quest.
Verdict
The search for Ouna appears to not have turned out to be as successful as hoped and the witch still needs to be found to pay for her actions.
Gelena has made her way back to the Tree of Whispers to return the head that was found and will attempt to interrogate it to find out where Ouna has gone off to.
You will need to progress more with silencing Whispers before returning to Gelena as she still needs time to get a lead on Ouna’s whereabouts.
