Your character and Pals may go hunger while exploring or after a tough battle and once starvation kicks in, your health will start to drop.
This can be a problem as it can end up with you getting defeated by enemies quickly, which makes it important to always grab a bit, but this can disrupt your adventure.
A solution to this would be to unlock the Food Slots in your character’s inventory, which can be done to allow you to place food that will automatically be eaten by you and your Pals.
How To Automatically Consume Food?
Food can automatically be consumed by both your character and your Pals once you have placed them into your character’s Food Slots.
There are 5 Food Slots in total and these can be opened by unlocking and crafting Feed Bags from the Ancient Technology that can be found in your Technology Menu.
Once a Feed Bag has been crafted, your character and Pals will consume any food that are in the Food Slots on their own when they are hungry.
How To Unlock Feed Bags?
Feed Bags can be unlocked under the Ancient Technology items, which can be accessed from your Technology Menu and will require Ancient Technology Points.
There are a total of 5 Feed Bags that you may unlock and craft, where each one of them unlocks a Food Slot in your inventory.
The following Feed Bags and the levels that they are available at are listed below:
- Small Feed Bag (Level 10)
- Average Feed Bag (Level 20)
- Large Feed Bag (Level 25)
- Huge Feed Bag (Level 35)
- Giant Feed Bag (Level 46)
How to Increase Food Slots?
As mentioned above, Food Slots are added with each Feed Bag that you unlock and craft, which makes each bag add 1 Food Slot to your inventory.
Having all of the Feed Bags unlocked and crafted will give you a total of 5 Food Slots, allowing you to place 5 different types of food for you and your Pals to automatically eat.
Verdict
While exploring and heading back to your base or taking a break to grab food to satisfy your hunger, having food on the go is best for a hassle-free journey.
By the time you’re each Level 10, it would be wise to unlock and craft the Small Feed Bag to ensure you can start automatically feeding your Pals.
Stacking several Red Berries in at least one slot is enough to keep you and your Pals going for a good amount of time, which is advisable for both new players and those who have progressed.
