Thrust Into The Dark Walkthrough

Eru will be waiting for you as he will accompany you in Nahantu, which you will gladly accept after speaking to him.

After speaking to Eru, he will lead the way and you will need to follow him through the forest until both are found by a group of Burned Knights.

You will need to fight the Burned Knights with help from Eru until another batch arrives, including an enemy called Commander Bartelemi Infernostride.

To your surprise, Raheir arrives with one shield in his hand as he charges towards the battle to assist you and Eru.

Once the fight is over and no enemies are left, speak to Raheir and the three of you will continue the journey together.

Raheir spoke about a den that would be safe for you and this is where the three of you will go, which can be done by following the marked location on your map.

Raheir will lead you to the entrance to the Den, which requires you to climb down a small opening where an entrance to the Ancient Ruins may be found.

Head inside the Ancient Ruins and you will find yourself in the Dark Passageway, where you and your allies will now fight your way through, which includes another Burned Knights ambush.

Continue pushing your way through the Dark Passageway until you reach the Shrouded Exit and you will need to face a boss called Nangari Deathworker.

Once you have killed Nangari Deathworker, your next task will be to find an entrance to the Den, which is located just to the north of where you fought the boss.

Head towards the rope and you will be able to interact with it, which causes you to go to the Den, which ends the quest.

Thrust Into The Dark Rewards

Once you have entered the Den for the first time, Thrust Into The Dark Quest will be complete, providing you with XP and Gold.

A new quest called the Hand Remembers the Blade will begin and from here on, you will now be able to access The Den.

The Den acts as a safe zone for you and your allies but that is not all, you will now be able to hire mercenaries (Raheir is your first) after unlocking them. (Done by completing their quests)

Verdict

Things seemed to be at their worst with you injured and Raheir captured but luckily, he was able to escape the Burned Knights and Eru found you.

The three of you have now found a safe place where you may get help from mercenaries who work with Raheir.

With a safe location for you and your allies and your full recovery, it is time for the three of you to search for Neyrelle in Nahantu.
