You made your way to Gea Kul to find a man named Raheir, who is supposed to help you find Neyrelle but the two of you were interrupted by a commotion outside.
This was an attack by the Hollows, who seem to be following wherever Neyrelle has been moving, which means that she is close by.
After defending Gea Kul against the attackers, you and Raheir make your way outside to take care of the remaining Hollows in the area.
How To Get Enmity Rising Quest?
Enmity Rising begins after you have fought back against the Hollows who were attacking Gea Kul, which leads you to follow Raheir outside of the city.
Enmity Rising Objectives
- Meet Raheir outside of Gea Kul to curb the Hollow threat
- Speak with Raheir outside of Gea Kul
- Destroy Hollow Defilements in Easter Basin (6)
- Destroy Profane Hollow Defilements in Hakan’s Oasis (3)
- Reach the Crumbled Bridge with Raheir
- Defeat the encroaching Hollows
- Speak with Raheir
- Investigate the Crumbled Bridge for the source of the Hollows
Enmity Rising Walkthrough
Once the quest begins, you will be heading to the location marked on your map where Raheir will be waiting, which requires you to interact with him.
Raheir reveals that the infection (The Hollows) started in Nahantu, which makes this your next destination but before heading there, you need to deal with the remaining enemies.
There will be multiple marks on the map which show the locations of the Hollow Defilements and you will need to destroy all of them. (6 in total)
After destroying the defilements, you will need to head east to Hakan’s Oasis and destroy 3 Profane Hollow Defilements, which are also marked on your map.
With the threat taken care of, you are to make your way to the Crumbled Bridge with Raheir to investigate the area.
Upon reaching the bridge, more Hollows will arrive and you will need to defeat all of them, which includes a boss called Abhorrent Manifestation.
After the Abhorrent Manifestation has been taken care of, speak to Raheir and he will leave to head back to his daughter.
You will head to the end of the Crumbled Bridge and investigate the area by interacting with it, which leads to a cutscene.
During the cutscene, you are surrounded by Uravir and his knights and they have brought Raheir with them, whose arm has been cut off.
You are distracted by what you think is Neyrelle at a distance only to be stabbed from behind, leading you to fall into the river. (This ends Chapter 1 of the Vessel of Hatred)
Enmity Rising Rewards
Completing Enmity Rising rewards you with XP and Gold that is obtained once the next quest called Thrust Into The Dark begins.
Additionally, you are rewarded with a piece of Legendary Gear, which was Legendary Gloves for us during our run as a Spiritborn.
We obtained Hatred’s Grasp of the Expectant with our Spiritborn Character. (Rewards may be different for other characters_
Verdict
When things seemed to be going in the right direction, it turned out that Urivar was one step ahead and had gotten to Raheir before he could reach his daughter.
Raheir’s hand has been cut off, and you have been stabbed and are bleeding out into the river as it takes you downstream which seems like an early end.
Lucky for you, things are not over as your body floats to Kurast, a place full of wonders and unexpected allies.
