The Techrot is a faction that was added with the release of Warframe 1999, being one of the main threats to Hollvania during the time.
These enemies bear a close resemblance to the Infested but instead of assimilating with other creatures, they merge with retro machinery.
Continuously spreading throughout Hollvania, the Techrot expands and assimilates with more technology and destroys anything that gets in their way.

An aggressive Techrot melee unit that dashes toward its targets and lashes out at them with frenzied strikes.

Small Techrot units move in groups in an attempt to swarm their targets and explode once they are within proximity.

A Techrot unit has subsumed a propane tank, which charges toward its target in an attempt to blow them up.

These Quadrupeds inflate the bladders on their back to float to a certain altitude at which they launch projectiles at their targets before descending.

Previously a workstation, this Techrot unit has transformed into a ranged assailant that can unleash a burst of projectiles at its targets.

Techrot Weaknesses
Fighting the Techrot is best done with Gas and Magnetic damage as these will deal increased damage against them.
Avoid using Cold Damage when fighting Techrot units as they are resistant to this damage type and will take longer to defeat.
Verdict
The Techrot are often found under Hollvania but in some missions, they will emerge and attack you depending on what location you are at.
Techrot are not as durable as the Scaldra but their overwhelming numbers and dangerous attacks make them foes worth watching out for.
Magnetic Damage is a good way to easily deplete shields as some Techrot have additional defenses, especially when missions go on for a longer amount of time.
