The Isleweaver Update brought us some new weapons to destroy our enemies with, and one of these is Spinnerex, a whip that has a surprising touch added to it.
With its ability to inflict the Toxin Status Effect and a chance to cause enemies to burst based on the number of stacks they are inflicted with, you can easily cause groups of enemies to fall.
On its own, this weapon is a powerful whip to be utilized by any Warframe, but extremely deadly when used by those who have a touch of Toxin in their arsenal.
Spinnerex Builds
1) Spinnerex Critical Damage Build (Critical Chance Build)
While Spinnerex does not have the highest Critical Chance amongst the other weapons in the game, it can still be built to get Critical Hits often.
This can be done by combining Blood Rush and True Steel, as these make it easy for Spinnerext to score Critical Hits once your Combo Count has gone up.
The weapon initially deals Toxin Damage, making it capable of applying Status Effects, and with Nira’s Contempt and other Status Chance mods, enemies are sure to become afflicted.
As mentioned, enemies have a chance to burst when affected by the Toxin Status Effect, and if you can deal large amounts of damage with Critical Hits, you can easily cause multiple bursts to happen.
2) Spinnerex Toxin Whip Build (Toxin & Status Chance Build)
Spinnerex can become an extremely deadly weapon that can clear enemies in seconds, as long as you kill enemies that have been inflicted with the Toxin Status Effect.
The more stacks of Toxin an enemy is inflicted with, the higher the chance that they will burst, and thanks to the high Status Chance of this weapon, this is guaranteed.
Virulent Scourge adds more damage and Status Chance, while Primed Fever Strike increases the base damage of the build.
Together with the other mods, all you need to do is whip your enemies like crazy, and you can expect several of them to burst and deal damage to the rest in the area.
3) Spinnerex Status Build (Status Chance Build)
If you love Status Chance builds, the mods included with this build boost the Status Chance of Spinnerax from 40% to 136% and your damage scales a lot as well.
This guarantees that as you lash out at your enemies, they are bound to be inflicted with Status Effects, including the Toxin Status Effect.
Since the Unique Trait of Spinnerax relies on your enemies being inflicted by the Toxin Status Effect, this helps a lot with causing enemies to burst.
Aside from your enemies bursting, you can deal a large amount of damage thanks to the addition of Condition Overload to this build.
4) Spinnerex Hybrid Build (Critical and Status Chance Build)
Our Hybrid Build for Spinnerex is a combination of both Mods that increase Critical Chance and Status Chance, allowing this weapon to deal Critical Damage and inflict Status Effects often.
We have kept the Element as Toxin, and you can utilize Primed Fever Strike to increase the base damage of this build even further to easily kill enemies.
Thanks to the Unique Trait of Spinnerex, enemies will burst, and this can easily be triggered due to the increased Status Chance of this whip.
A combination of both Critical Damage and Status Effects can be useful when taking on stronger enemies, and with Condition Overload, even more damage will be dealt.

Verdict
Spinnerex is best utilized against enemies afflicted with the Toxin Status Effect, as this will allow you to trigger its Unique Passive.
Warframes that can cause the Toxin Status Effect, such as Oraxia, Saryn, and others, can turn this whip into an overpowered weapon when the right mods are equipped.
It is best to keep the Toxin Element to utilize the Unique Trait of this weapon, or else it will function as an ordinary whip that has been modded.
