After investigating a strange gathering of demons at Eldhaime Keep, you discovered a Blood Relic that contained a mysterious power.
This power is tied to Astaroth, and it looks like something terrible may be soon to happen, which has led to Bryon instructing you to find more Blood Relics.
You will need to find another Blood Relic, and the first place to check is any available Nightmare Dungeon that you may access to find a Horadric Strongroom within.
How To Get Bearing The Weight of Ghosts Seasonal Quest?
Bearing the Weight of Ghosts becomes available once you have reached Tier 2 with your Horadric Knowledge, which can be checked at the Horadric Focus.
Once you have reached Tier 2, this quest will automatically become available, and if you have not yet reached Tier 2, a quest called The Truths That Lie Within will be active until then.
Bearing The Weight of Ghosts Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest begins, you will need to find a Nightmare Dungeon and enter it, which can be done by using a Nightmare Sigil.
By the time you have this quest, the game should have already provided you with a Nightmare Sigil to use, and this will have a guaranteed Horadric Strongroom in it.
Continue through the Nightmare Dungeon by fighting your way through enemies and look out for the energy that will point you out to where the Horadric Gateway will be.
Interact with the Horadric Gateway, and enemies will begin to spawn, which requires you to defeat them before a Horadric Portal will appear.
Once the Horadric Portal has appeared, head inside and begin completing the Horadric Strongroom, which should reward you with a Horadric Cache.
The Horadric Cache will contain a Blood Relic, and once you pick this up, it is time to head back to Bryona, regardless of whether you finish the Nightmare Dungeon or not. (We recommend finishing it for more sigils.)
Bearing The Weight of Ghosts Quest Rewards
Once you grab the Blood Relic and speak with Bryona at Cerrigar, there will be a short dialogue before the quest is complete.
Upon completion of this quest, you will be rewarded with the Astral Pillar Catalyst and Corrosive Vapor Infusion along with the following:
- Gold
- XP
- Herb Cache
- Random Equipment
Verdict
Upon returning to Bryona, she will share more about herself with you, revealing that Braega (Donan’s Wife) is her sister, who was a member of the Horadrim.
It is revealed while you are in the Nightmare Dungeon that Astaroth had been planning to corrupt Sanctuary from the very start, but Donan locked his power away.
With this newfound power and the danger that Astaroth now poses to Sanctuary, you and Bryona must learn more about harnessing it and discover what dangers lie in wait.
