If you open a Nightmare Dungeon or Escalating Nightmare that has the “Horadric Strongroom” affix, this will guarantee a Horadric Strongroom will appear.
Your Wayfinder will begin to help you track the location of the Horadric Strongroom can be found, eventually leading you to its Horadric Gateway.
How To Open a Horadric Strongroom?
To open a Horadric Strongroom, you will need to interact with its Horadric Gateway, which later spawns a portal if you manage to clear out the monsters that spawn.
This does not take that long, and the enemies may easily be cleared out, which results in a Horadric Portal to appear. (Enter to reach the Horadric Strongroom.
Horadric Strongrooms Walkthrough
Start by using a Nightmare Sigil that has the Horadric Strongroom affix, which guarantees that you will be able to find one.
Teleport or make your way to the Nightmare Dungeon that is activated, and go about it as you normally would until your Wayfinder starts showing where a Horadric Gateway is hidden.
The Wayfinder releases a trail of light that will mark the gateway, and upon reaching it, the Horadric Gateway will be revealed.
Interact with the Horadric Gateway, and this will cause enemies to spawn in the area, which requires that they be all cleared out.

Once the chest has been opened, the Horadric Strongroom will be complete, and you may leave through the portal that appears to head back to the Nightmare Dungeon.
Horadric Strongroom Rewards
Defeating the Horadric Strongroom boss will reward you with different drops, which may often include Gold, Horadric Phials, Crafting Materials, Equipment, and more.
Opening a Horadric Cache (Horadric Chest) will provide you with rewards based on the attunement rank you have reached, and this also alters its name.
The Horadric Cache will often reward you with Crafting Materials, Equipment, Horadric Phials, and sometimes Arcanas if you still haven’t obtained all of them.
