Warframe: Kuva Ghoulsaw Builds

If you’ve ever used the Ghoulsaw before, you already know it’s not a normal melee weapon, and the Kuva version pushes that identity even further in a noticeable way.

Kuva Ghoulsaw takes that heavy, momentum-based playstyle and upgrades it with stronger base stats, better scaling, and a Kuva elemental bonus that helps it stay relevant in higher-level content.

Once you get into its stance combos, it starts to feel less like simple melee swinging and more like controlling space while everything around you slowly gets carved apart.

Warframe Kuva Ghoulsaw Builds

1) Critical Build

Our Critical Build focuses on boosting the Critical Chance and Critical Damage of Kuva Ghoulsaw, allowing you to deal even more damage as you get more hits in.

With Blood Rush, the Critical Chance increases based on your combo meter, while Primed Pressure Point and two elemental mods have been added for an overall amount of damage.

Galvanized Steel and Organ Shatter are important parts of the build as they boost Critical Chance to 52.5% and Critical Damage to 4x and the possibility to increase further.

2) Condition Overload Critical Build

Focusing on dealing increased damage with the high possibility of critical hits, our Condition Overload build relies on the usage of a primer primary or secondary weapon.

Primers can be used to apply multiple status effects on their targets and once they are inflicted with several of these, Condition Overload allows you to deal more damage to them.

Included in this build are Galvanized Steel, Blood Rush and Organ Shatter, which are main mods used for builds that focus on dealing critical damage.

3) Status Build

Status Effects can be extremely deadly when you inflict several ones on your enemies, especially if you have a damage type that they are weak against.

With this build, you can have a combination of status effects and with the elemental bonus of the Kuva Ghoulsaw, things can get pretty insane.

Combining multiple status mods for damage and status effects along with condition overload, high amounts of damage can be done as you continue to slice and dice your enemies.

4) Hybrid Build

Kuva Ghoulsaw can cause enemies to take damage from several sources, and the Hybrid Build can do wonders, especially when you can continuously strike at your enemies.

Combining both the Critical and Status Builds, you inflict status effects on your enemies while finishing them off with critical hits.

This becomes even more effective if the status mods you use provide you with extra damage against enemies that are weak against certain elements.

Verdict

Kuva Ghoulsaw is at its best when you fully lean into its heavy, combo-driven playstyle instead of trying to treat it like a standard fast melee weapon.

It scales well in longer fights, especially when built for status or hybrid damage setups that take advantage of its consistent hit patterns and sustained pressure.

Overall, it’s a reliable Kuva melee option that feels different enough to stand out while still being strong and practical for high-level content.
