Much like the other updates that have hit Warframe, the Isleweaver Update has something to help New Players out, which is the Junction Recalibration.
This effort is to make sure that they can utilize the Junctions as a way to navigate properly through the Star Chart as they progress, and a rework has been done.
Specters, rewards, and more have been updated, and those who have already progressed receive a Junction Recalibration as the Junctions have changed.
Junction Rework Changes
New Junction User Interface
Selecting a Junction now shows you the required tasks that need to be completed before you can challenge the Specter that lies within.
You will be able to see the tasks that need to be completed as well as the Specter that you will be facing when you enter it.
While viewing the Junction Info, you will also be able to see what rewards you will obtain, such as equipment, blueprints, what locations you can access next, and more.
Junction Rewards
With the new changes in the Junction System added, the reward mechanics of all the Junctions have been changed, and players may obtain rewards based on progression.
By completing the tasks required to enter a certain Junction, you will be able to claim rewards and later challenge the Specter inside it.
Defeating the Specter of a Junction will also provide you with certain items that you may collect, making this a great way for new players to obtain valuable rewards as they progress.
Junction Path Alignments
The Junctions now function in a way where you will need to progress in certain locations and complete quests before moving to new locations.
This makes it easy for new players to figure out what to do next and where they need to go while also ensuring they don’t have a hard time.
Completing objectives for the Junctions and fighting the Specters will eventually be available once the required tasks, including quests, have been completed.
Junction Recalibration Returning Player Rewards
Players who have already progressed past certain Junctions will be able to obtain certain rewards, and these become available once they log in.
After the recent Isleweaver Update, we received the following rewards:
- Furis
- 500 Endo
- 2,500 Endo
- 750 Endo
- Unlock Arbitrations
- 1,000 Endo
- Warframe Slot
Depending on progression, some players might receive different rewards as others may have progressed differently or have not yet reached a certain phase in the game.
Warframe Account Has Invalid Inventory Slots Error
Since the Junction Recalibration rewards you with Furis and no extra Inventory Slot (You get a Warframe Slot but no Weapon Slot), an error might occur.
The “Warframe Account Has Invalid Inventory Slots Error” will appear if you do not have any extra Weapon Slots and have received Furis.
To fix this, you will need to purchase an additional Weapon Slot or get rid of one of your existing weapons so that the Furis you have obtained can use its slot.
You may either purchase Weapon Slots with Platinum or sell weapons you don’t need by accessing your inventory. (They can be sold for Credits)
Verdict
Back then, Warframe was a bit chaotic as players would sometimes have a hard time figuring out what to do next, and this new rework has tackled this issue.
Now that there is a way for you to figure out what to do next, you simply need to complete nodes, take on the required tasks, and complete Junctions to move on.
This certainly is a good step for making the game more user-friendly because back then, even our team was all over the place, and this feels like a decent and more rewarding change.
