How To Obtain Mentor Ayatan Sumdali?
To obtain the Mentor Ayatan Sumdali, players must complete the Hardmode mission The Guilty, located in the Dark Refractory, which becomes accessible after unlocking the mission.
Starting The Guilty is recommended with matchmaking, as the mission requires coordination to handle multiple waves of enemies and the three bosses of The Perita Rebellion efficiently.
After defeating all three bosses, players receive various rewards, including the Mentor Ayatan Sumdali, which can be collected immediately and added to their inventory.
Unlocking The Guilty (Dark Refractory)
The Guilty is not immediately accessible and requires players to perform a specific action to unlock the mission within the Sanctum Anatomica.
Head to the Lotus at the bottom of the Sanctum Anatomica and use the “Bow” emote, which will trigger the unlock sequence and make the mission available in your navigation panel.

How To Equip Mentor Ayatan Sumdali?
Open your Orbiter from the menu, select the Landing Craft, and choose the Sumdali slot to view which ones you currently own.
Select the Mentor Ayatan Sumdali to equip it, and it will immediately appear in the preview alongside your other Sumdali slots on the Orbiter.
