Grendel is a gluttonous Warframe who sees every enemy on the battlefield as a personal buffet, devouring foes to grow stronger and turn fights in his favor.
He’s tanky and relentless, stacking Armor with each enemy inside his belly while using his hunger to heal himself and empower allies around him.
Abilities like Pulverize and Regurgitate let him control crowds, slam through enemies, and deal serious Toxin damage, making him deadly in both solo runs and team fights.

Grendel Abilities
Passive Ability
Grendel gains 250 additional Armor for each enemy that he is digesting with his Feast ability, which can reach a maximum of 1,250 Armor, capped at 5 enemies.
The amount of Armor temporarily gained can be increased by an additional 150 Armor, giving you 400 per enemy and capped at 2,000 with the Gourmand Augment Mod.
1) Feast
Grendel’s belly opens up and sucks enemies in front of him, placing them inside his belly where they are slowly digested.
Based on the number of enemies inside of Grendel’s belly, Grendel will gain Armor that stacks up to 5 times, providing him with 250 for each enemy being digested.

2) Nourish
Grendel begins to consume an enemy within his belly, damaging them or even killing them to provide a buff for himself and his allies.
Enemies that attack Grendel or that are attacked by him will suffer from Viral Damage, and the energy gained will also be increased.
Nourish (Max Rank)

Augment Mods:
- Heavy Nourishment causes Grendel to remove Status Effects and provide him with Status Immunity based on the number of victims in his stomach. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Red Veil.
3) Pulverize
Grendel curls up into a ball and can continue moving, which will knock over enemies in his path if he happens to collide with them.
While in his curled-up ball form, Grendel can jump, which will result in a shockwave being sent out as he slams into the ground,

4) Regurgitate
Grendel unleashes an enemy soaked in bile from his stomach, which turns them into a toxic projectile that deals damage at the area of impact.
Enemies who are in the area where the projectile hits will also be slowed and will have their Armor greatly reduced.
Regurgitate (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 50 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Damage | 2,000 Toxin | Ability Strength |
Radius | 6 Meters | Ability Range |

- Gastro causes the projectile spat out by Grendel to bounce up, creating gas clouds where they land that remain in the area for a short duration, inflicting enemies in these areas with the Gas Status Effect. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Red Veil.
Verdict
Grendel performs well when he can keep eating enemies, turning every foe into stacked Armor, health, and energy for himself and his squad.
His crowd control tools let him knock enemies around, soften them up, and punish groups, making his gluttony a tactical advantage in battle.
While he can hit hard with raw damage builds, Grendel’s real power comes from being a gluttonous juggernaut, capable of taking enemies down on his own or clearing a path for his allies.
