Warframe: How to Get Follie

Follie is a painter and ink-themed Warframe who distorts reality with thick black pigment, splattering enemies in slowing ink while supporting her squad with creative utility.

Her abilities let her reposition through ink pools, create clones, attach enemies to balloons, and manipulate strange shadow constructs drawn from her own imagination.

With strong crowd control, reliable debuffs, and unpredictable battlefield manipulation, she excels at turning chaotic encounters into surreal, one-sided performances.

How To Get Follie?

Follie can be obtained through Follie’s Hunt, a mission inside the ruined Vesper Relay on Venus that becomes available after completing Chains of Harrow.

Players enter the mission by stepping into Follie’s painting, collect and deliver paint for Shadowgraphs, and survive her pursuit to earn her component blueprints.

All three components drop from Rotation A by a certain chance, and once the main blueprint is acquired, Follie can be crafted in the Foundry with the required resources.

Follie Abilities

Passive Ability

Follie’s abilities splatter thick, viscous ink onto enemies, causing them to move more slowly as they struggle through the inky shadow she spreads.

Whenever enemies die while coated in ink, they have a chance to leave behind a Health Orb or an Energy Orb for Follie and her squad to collect, giving constant resource sustain.

This passive makes her a natural crowd control frame who rewards aggressive ability use with both battlefield control and ongoing survivability.

1) Forced Perspective

Follie dives into an inky portrait frame, becoming temporarily invulnerable, cleansing Status Effects, and splashing ink to stagger enemies on entry and exit.

She emerges at the targeted location, spreading her passive effect while dealing damage, making Forced Perspective both a defensive repositioning tool and a crowd-control ability.

2) Shadowgraph

Shadowgraph lets Follie summon inky objects from her sketchbook, including Explosive Barrels, Arc Traps, and RPGs, all of which apply status effects to nearby enemies.

Players can customize Shadowgraph objects’ visual appearances in the menu and holding the ability down while in missions will allow you to select different ones to use.

3) Self Portrait

Follie creates an inky clone of herself that absorbs part of incoming damage and generates an ink pool, coating enemies to trigger her passive effect.

The Self Portrait grows with kills, expanding its pool, increasing damage absorption, and adding duration, giving Follie reliable battlefield control.

4) Plein Air

Plein Air attaches enemies to floating ink balloons, reducing their Armor and Shields, while lifting them into the air and spreading her passive ink across multiple targets.

Popping the balloons causes enemies to plummet with scaling fall damage, spreading ink to others nearby, and creating chain reactions for crowd control and tactical advantage.

With Shadowgraphs, Self Portrait, and Plein Air, Follie rewards smart play and creativity, giving players a flexible and fun Warframe to use.
