Warframe: Crimson Talent (How To Get, Uses & Resource Booster)

Crimson Talent is one of the new currencies introduced with Jade Shadows: Constellations and serves as one of the primary ways to obtain rewards from the Pontis Tower.

Unlike standard resources that are gathered from enemies or containers, Crimson Talent is earned directly through mission completion and certain objectives tied to the update.

Since many blueprints, cosmetics, and other exclusive items require this currency, you will likely want to build up a healthy supply as you progress through the new content.

Where To Get Crimson Talent?

Crimson Talent is obtained from Scoria’s Angel, one of the new Railjack missions that become available after completing the Jade Shadows: Constellations quest.

Players may access Scoria’s Angel either through Uranus Proxima or by speaking with Vena at the Pontis Tower once the location has been unlocked.

Both the normal and Steel Path versions of the mission reward Crimson Talent, with higher amounts being available from the more difficult version.

How To Farm Crimson Talent?

Completing Scoria’s Angel will reward you with a guaranteed amount of Crimson Talent at the end of the mission, making repeated runs the main way to farm the currency.

Normal difficulty rewards between 12 and 16 Crimson Talents, while Steel Path rewards between 18 and 22, allowing players to earn larger amounts per run.

Additional Crimson Talents can also be earned during the Ramsled stage of the mission depending on how successfully the objective is completed before boarding Ryoku’s ship.

Crimson Talent Uses

Crimson Talent is mainly spent at Hunhow in the Pontis Tower, where it can be exchanged for a large collection of rewards introduced with Jade Shadows: Constellations.

These include Wrath blueprints, Vena as a Railjack crew member, Bloodfrenzy cosmetics, Captura scenes, Somachord tracks, Arcanes, Sirius & Orion parts, and several other collectibles.

Some items require only Crimson Talents while others require both Crimson and Emerald Talents, making it worthwhile to farm both currencies as you unlock more rewards.

Crimson Talent Resource Booster

Resource Boosters do not affect the amount of Crimson Talent earned since it functions as a mission currency rather than a traditional resource drop.

The amount received is determined by mission rewards and objective performance, meaning boosters will not increase your earnings per run.

At the moment, the best way to earn more Crimson Talent is simply to complete Scoria’s Angel efficiently and move on to the next run.

Verdict

Crimson Talent is one of the most important currencies introduced with Jade Shadows: Constellations since many of the update’s rewards are locked behind it.

Whether you are farming Wrath blueprints, collecting cosmetics, or purchasing new Arcanes, you will naturally accumulate Crimson Talent as you continue running Scoria’s Angel.

It is often worth saving a portion of your Talents until later, allowing you to purchase specific rewards or complete Arcane sets after your mission drops have started to slow down.
