Scoria’s Angel is one of the two hunt missions introduced with Jade Shadows: Constellations, focusing on Orion’s relentless pursuit of Ryoku as their conflict continues across time.
Unlike The Kuva Wytch, this mission places you alongside the more aggressive of the two siblings, leading to a dangerous operation filled with ambushes, traps, and fierce resistance.
As you fight your way through Ryoku’s defenses aboard his heavily fortified vessel, you will uncover more of the bitter rivalry that has kept Sirius and Orion locked in an endless war.
How To Start Scoria’s Angel?
Players can enter Scoria’s Angel through two different locations once it has been unlocked, either by selecting the mission in Uranus Proxima or by heading directly to the Pontis Tower.
Choosing the mission from Uranus Proxima places you aboard Vena’s personal Railjack, The Marrowbone, which will be used throughout the operation.
Those who launch the mission from the Pontis Tower may instead decide between bringing their own Railjack or using The Marrowbone before deployment.
Completion of the Jade Shadows: Constellations quest is required before either Scoria’s Angel or the Pontis Tower becomes available.
Scoria’s Angel Walkthrough
Once the mission begins, make your way to the asteroid field until you reach the station, which has security nodes that you need to destroy.
Before taking out the security nodes, the Railjack may be attacked, and you may need to deal with any intruders onboard.
Take out the security nodes and make your way to intercept the nearby cargo ships, which will have cardo that you need to shoot off.
The cargo ships will retreat, and the location of a cloaked ship will be revealed, which you must now hit with the Railjack’s Forward Artillery.
The ship is later revealed to be Ryoku’s comet shredder, which you will now need to approach to board it along with Vena.
Approach Vena, and the two of you will need to make your way to a nearby terminal, which she will hack while you protect her from Corpus attackers.
Once the hacking is done, you will need to make your way to a security terminal to disable the defenses, allowing you and Vena to proceed.
After hacking the terminal, you and Vena will need to make your way to the next room to fight the Comet Shredder Captain.
Once the captain has been defeated, proceed with clearing out the rest of the enemies, and afterward, you will need to collect 3 canisters in the area.
With all 3 canisters collected, proceed by making your way to the Ramsled nearby and board it along with Vena so the two of you can make it to Ryoku’s ship.
After reaching Ryoku’s ship, fight your way past the enemies, and in the next room, you will need to destroy the Mag Coils to progress further. (These will be marked)
Make your way to the room where Ryoku can be found, and the fight will begin, which requires you to take out his health before his Shadow Clones appear.
Defeat the Shadow Clones, and a Power Cell will drop, which you must now pick up and throw at the Megacoil in the center of the area above.
Ryoku will appear in 4 different areas, but only one will be the original, as the others are just clones, and you must fight him until his health is low.
Once again, you will need to pick up Powercells (3 this time) and throw them all at the Megacoil, which will eventually defeat Ryoku in the process.
After Ryoku is defeated, head back to the Railjack, and the mission will be complete, allowing you to exit the mission or fight Ryoku again.
