Prime Vanguard is a demanding Warframe boss encounter where the Tenno confront multiple commandeered Prime Warframes attacking in sequence with powerful abilities.
Set within The Perita Rebellion in the Dark Refractory, this battle challenges players to adapt quickly as different Prime Warframes enter combat with distinct mechanics.

Where To Fight Prime Vanguard?
The Prime Vanguard, which consists of multiple Commandeered Prime Warframes, can be fought in the Recall: Vanguard mission in the Dark Refractory.
Once you have access to the Dark Refractory, choose The Perita Rebellion, and you may choose the mission among the 2 other available ones.
This will take you into a memory where you will have 12 minutes to complete objectives, farm resources, and even obtain buffs to give you an advantage in the boss fight.
How To Defeat Prime Vanguard?
When facing the Prime Vanguard, these Commandeered Prime Warframes will attack you in turns, which will have you facing either one or two of them.
Each of the Commandeered Warframes will be visible above you, and they will teleport into the battle once the previous ones have been defeated.
Facing each Prime Warframe can be a challenge, as each one of them will utilize the abilities that their specific Warframe possesses.
You will have to fight all of them until none are left, making it important to evade their attacks while dishing out damage at the same time.
Each of the Prime Warframes may utilize abilities, which makes it a good advantage to know what they can do, as this may give you a good idea of how to avoid their attacks.
The Prime Warframes will attack you in different orders and an example of this would be the following:
- Mesa Prime
- Ash Prime & Volt Prime
- Protea Prime
- Caliban Prime & Ember Prime
Rewards
Defeating the Prime Vanguard and successfully extracting from this mission will provide you with a resource called Ascaris Prime and other loot from the mission’s drop table.
Once the mission is completed, one of the following arcanes is also rewarded:
