Evensong is one of Jade’s signature weapons that features a decent amount of damage which deals radial damage when fully charged.
What makes the weapon unique is its ability to reduce enemy damage, increase Critical Chance against them, and even buff you and your allies with additional Multishot.
Certain builds are effective with this weapon and others allow you to take advantage of its bonus effects, which is why we have created some for you to start with.
Evensong Build
1) Critical Shots Build
This build features a high Critical Chance but for some, 75% may not be that good and this is made up for with the Galvanized Scope mod and Galvanized Chamber.
Galvanized Chamber increases the Multishot of this bow and killing enemies increases it further while Galvanized Scope rewards headshots and headshot kills with more Critical chance.
This gives Evensong a higher amount of Critical Chance when you are accurate and with the other mods added, the fire rate, critical damage, and base damage of the bow are increased.
2) Radial Status Build
The base status chance of Evensong is quite high and by adding Rime Rounds, Thermite Rounds, High Voltage, and Malignant Force, we boost this to 129.2% Status Chance.
This allows each shot to inflict enemies with a Status Effect and not only does this affect an enemy hit but the radial damage makes the shots even better. (Charged Shots)
Shots may continuously inflict Status Effects on your enemies, it also provides a good amount of damage and may even be used to prime enemies. (Weakens them against Condition Overload Builds)
3) Hybrid Build
The hybrid build we have created for Evensong is a simple one that can later be modified if you can apply different polarizations to the weapon.
We have included Rime Rounds, Thermite Rounds, Malignant Force, and High Voltage for increased damage and status chance.
Adding Vital Sense and Point Strike gave the weapon Critical Chance and Critical Damage while Vile Acceleration was added for faster attacks. (You can swap these out with mods that you prefer)
4) Full Damage Build
If dealing massive amounts of damage to enemies is something you want to do with each shot, this build is perfect for the Evensong.
Combining Infected Clip, Stormbringer, Hellfire, and Primed Cryo Rounds, the base damage is increased to an insane amount.
The addition of Galvanized Chamber and Vigilante Armaments adds Multishot to the build while Speed Trigger lets you fire the weapon faster.
Verdict
Evensong can be a great weapon when it comes to fighting stronger enemies as you can use it to prevent them from dealing damage and expose them to more Critical Hits.
Depending on what build you choose and the arrangement of the elemental mods, you can deal extremely high amounts of damage to certain factions.
It is important to take into consideration that the Evensong Devotion Unique Trait will provide various benefits, which further improve these builds.
