Diablo 4 Horadric Jewels (How to Unlock, Craft, List of Jewels & Effects)

Horadric Jewels are socketables that were added when Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim became live and provide you with a new way to customize your builds.

Depending on which Horadric Jewels you craft and equip, you can utilize useful bonuses to dominate the enemies that you encounter along your way.

Before being able to craft Horadric Jewels, though, you will need to unlock them by progressing with your Horadric Knowledge and discovering Horadric Tomes.

How To Unlock Horadric Jewel Recipes?

Before you can craft Horadric Jewels, you will need to unlock their recipes first, which can be done by using Horadric Tomes that you find and using them from your inventory.

Your first Horadric Tomes can be obtained as a reward from your Horadric Knowledge by claiming the Horadric Cache reward, which is available once you reach Tier 10.

Claiming the Horadric Cache will provide you with a chance to find Horadric Tomes when you open a Horadric Cache that appears when you complete Horadric Strongrooms.

How To Craft Horadric Jewels?

Once you have unlocked Horadric Jewels Recipes, you will be able to craft them in Cerrigar by interacting with the Horadric Lapidary.

While accessing the Horadric Lapidary, select the “Craft Jewels” tab, and this will show you the available Horadric Jewel Recipes that you have unlocked.

Crafting Horadric Jewels will require Horadric Phials along with different types of Gems, depending on which one you plan to make.

  • Liminal Echo – Taking fatal damage does not kill you and instead invokes Propulsion, making you invulnerable for 3 seconds. (Has a 75-second cooldown)
  • Reverie Horn – After you injure or kill an enemy, your Summons become empowered and increase in size while dealing 50% more damage for 4 seconds.
  • Scornful Light – You deal 20% more Elemental damage, but take 10% more as well.

  • Willbreaker – Physical damage you deal shatters enemies’ spirits, causing them to take 40% more Physical damage over 6 seconds. (Applies when first damaging a Boss, Elite or when you affect and enemy with Crowd Control)

Verdict

It is possible to unlock all of the Horadric Jewel Recipes if you grind Horadric Strongrooms, especially if you start a new dungeon and repeat to skip ahead. (If you have tons of sigils)

Depending on what character you are using and the build you have, certain Horadric Jewels can be extremely useful, making it fun to mix and match these from time to time.

Horadric Jewels may only be inserted into Jewelry, which makes it important to pick out which ones you will need, as you will only be able to use 3 at a time.
