Dyadic Ascension is one of the quests that you obtain once you have progressed with The Taken Path, where you eventually obtain the Barrow-Dyad in the Derealize Mission.
Upon completion of the mission, the Barrow-Dyad will be in its standard form but may later be upgraded by progressing with this quest.
You will mostly be focusing on increasing your rank with the Shaping Slab as well as finding more Taken Osseous Fragments as you progress.
How To Get Dyadic Ascension Quest?
The Dyadic Ascension Quest is obtained by first completing the Derealize Exotic Mission, as opening the chest at the end provides you with the item needed to get it.
Once you have the Dyadic Ascension Quest Item, you may obtain the Dyadic Ascension quest from the Shaping Slab.
Dyadic Ascension Quest Steps
The Dyadic Ascension Exotic Quest mostly requires that you progress with your reputation rank for the Shaping Slab and locate Taken Osseous Fragments in certain locations.
Step 1: Enhance your control by upgrading your progress along the Path of Resolve
This Quest Step requires that you reach at least Rank 5 with the Shaping Slab as this will provide you with the Steel Your Nerves Perk.
You may progress with the Shaping Slab by completing sections of The Nether Activity, defeating bosses, destroying Sigil Stones, and turning in Metastasized Data at the Taken Altar.
Step 2: Locate and collect Taken Osseous Fragments in The Nether
There are Taken Osseous Fragments scattered around the Nether in fixed locations, which you will need to collect.
Taken Osseous Fragments can be located by searching in the Hall of Souls, Mausoleum, and the Trenchway as each of these areas has 6 of them.
When you are close to a Taken Osseous Fragment, it will be marked on your radar as well as with a waypoint to help you spot it.
Step 3: Enhance your control by upgrading your progress along the Path of Resolve
Like the first Quest Step of Dyadic Ascension, you will need to obtain a Path Mastery called Unbreakable Will from the Shaping Slab.
This can be obtained as you progress with your Reputation Rank and have reached Rank 9 and may be claimed by opening its menu.
Step 4: Find more Osseous Fragments in the Nether
Previously you were able to collect 6 Taken Osseous Fragments or more and this time around, you will need to have collected a total of 12.
Continue searching in areas where you have not yet obtained all 6 of them as each area contains this amount of Taken Osseous Fragments. (Hall of Souls, Mausoleum, or the Trenchway)
Step 5: Enhance your control by upgrading your progress along the Path of Resolve
Once you have gained enough reputation with the Shaping Slab, you will need to obtain the Moment of Clarity upgrade from the Shaping Slab.
Step 6: Find the remaining Taken Osseous Fragments hidden in the Nether
It’s time to collect the last 6 Osseous Fragments and you will need to do this in parts of The Nether where you have not yet found them.
Step 7: Prove your mastery of combat and exploration in the Nether
The last part of the Dyadic Ascension Exotic Quest kind of skipped out on us and it seems that if you have progressed enough by completing several runs of The Nether, this will be complete.
Once you have proven your mastery of combat and exploration in The Nether, the quest will instantly be completed.
Dyadic Ascension Quest Rewards
As you progress with the Dyadic Ascension Exotic Quest, you will be able to unlock Intrinsics and upgrades for the Barrow-Dyad.
This includes enhancing the Panic Response intrinsics as well as new choices for its barrel, magazine, traits, and grip.
Additionally, completing this quest will also provide you with the Intrinsic Iteration Triumph, which is unlocked by obtaining the intrinsic perks for the Barrow-Dyad.
Verdict
Those who have taken a liking to the new Strand Exotic Submachine Gun may want to complete this Exotic Quest as soon as possible to upgrade it later.
While obtaining the Barrow-Dyad and a few of its upgrades can be done in Episode: Heresy Act I, Guardians will have to wait for the next act before more options can be unlocked.
Those who have completed Quest Steps 6 and 7 before Act II will immediately finish this quest upon obtaining Moment of Clarity.
