Narin is an ice-wielding sword dancer whose mysterious past is tied to Yuvan’s Peak, where she froze at the moment of Tenno’s fateful decision during The War Within.
Her influence helped keep the Zariman’s corruption at bay, and her legendary sword now rests encased in ice atop the mountain.
Armed with a deadly rapier and powerful ice abilities, Narin combines swift sword strikes, crowd control, and defensive abilities that allow her to protect herself and her allies.
How To Get Narin?
Narin’s blueprints can be purchased from Cephalon Melica using Entropic Kuva, which is obtained by defeating Entropic Eximus enemies aboard the Zariman.
To unlock access to Melica, we need to complete the Angels of the Zariman quest, after which she can be found in the Chrysalith on the Zariman or at Yuvan’s Peak on Earth.
Once we have collected enough Entropic Kuva, we can exchange it for Narin’s blueprints and craft her in our Foundry.
Narin’s Main Blueprint can be purchased for 400 Entropic Kuva while her Component Blueprints each cost 130 Entropic Kuva.

Narin Abilities
Narin’s abilities revolve around applying Cold Status Effects, generating Ice and using her rapier to deal damage while keeping enemies frozen.
Her first three abilities generate Ice whenever they hit enemies, allowing her to build up the resource needed to activate Nurinarim, which requires a full Ice meter.
By combining her abilities, we can restore Shields, generate Overguard, reposition during combat and unleash powerful sword attacks against Frozen enemies.
Passive Ability
Each stack of Cold Status on enemies increases their chance of spawning a Sangodae pickup by 1%, which provides additional Cold Damage.
These pickups grant bonus Cold Damage to Primary and Secondary weapons for 10 seconds, with Narin also receiving the same bonus for her abilities.
1) Neote
Narin lunges forward with her ice rapier, Neote, dealing Cold Damage and applying Cold and Puncture Status Effects to enemies directly in front of her.
Each enemy struck generates Ice, making Neote useful for building up the resource needed to activate Nurinarim, even when attacking only a few targets.
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 25 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Damage | 400 Cold | Ability Strength |
Total Damage | 2,000 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Range | 12 Meters | Ability Range |
2) Naraemagi
Narin absorbs Cold Status Effects from nearby enemies to restore her Shields, converting the excess into Overguard whenever her Shields are already full.
Each enemy hit also generates Ice, allowing her to replenish her defenses while building up the resource needed for Nurinarim.
Since Naraemagi removes Cold Status Effects from affected enemies, we need to be prepared to reapply them before using her other abilities.
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 50 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Radius | 14 Meters | Ability Range |
Shield Per Cold Status | 75 Shield | Ability Strength |
| Overguard Cap | 15,000 Overguard | Ability Strength |
3) Hakchum
Narin leaps into the air before descending onto a targeted location, dealing Cold Damage and applying Cold Status and Cold Damage Vulnerability to nearby enemies.
Tapping the ability again allows us to choose where she lands, while the attack also generates Ice for each enemy hit.
Narin is invulnerable during Hakchum, making it useful for escaping danger or repositioning, while her height can be adjusted using the Move Up and Move Down controls.
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 75 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Radius | 10 Meters | Ability Range |
Damage | 1,000 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Damage/Second | 100 Cold | Ability Strength |
Duration | 15 Seconds | Ability Duration |
| Damage Vulnerability | 150% | Ability Strength |
4) Nurinarim
Narin summons an ancestral spirit that performs a continuous sword dance, damaging nearby enemies while marking targets for additional attacks.
Attacking marked enemies launches icy slashes that reduce their Armor and Shields, while striking Frozen enemies causes them to explode and deal radial Cold Damage.
Nurinarim requires a full Ice meter to activate and continuously consumes Ice, with missed attacks increasing the drain rate.
We can deactivate it early to conserve Ice, while dodging, jumping, and using Hakchum remain available for repositioning.
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 25 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Maximum Duration | 15 Seconds | Ability Duration |
Radial Damage | 500 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Radius | 8 Meters | Ability Range |
Damage | 40,000 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Defense Reduction | 5% | Ability Strength |
Explosion Damage | 20,000 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Explosion Range | 10 Meters | Ability Range |
Verdict
Narin combines powerful Cold Damage with crowd control, using her ice-based abilities to freeze enemies while generating Ice for her ultimate attack.
Her ability to restore Shields, generate Overguard, and become invulnerable during Hakchum gives her several ways to survive difficult encounters.
By managing her Ice and combining her abilities effectively, we can keep enemies frozen, maintain our defenses, and unleash devastating attacks with Nurinarim.
