Palworld: How to Get Axel Hat

Axel’s black beanie is hard to miss, especially with the bright yellow and bluish-purple zigzag pattern cutting across it like a flash of electricity.

The hat also leaves Axel’s purple hair with its yellow lightning-like tips visible underneath, giving the whole thing a very specific Brothers of the Eternal Pyre look.

If you’ve ever wanted your character to look like they just walked out of Axel’s tower, this is probably the closest piece of headgear you can get.

Where To Get Axel Hat?

The Axel Hat is awarded for defeating Axel & Orserk at the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre Tower on Hard Mode, located on Mount Obsidian.

This version of the fight is a serious upgrade from the original encounter, with Axel & Orserk reaching Level 76 and the battle opening with Mossanda Lux and Relaxaurus Lux joining the arena.

The first Hard Mode clear guarantees 1 Axel Hat and 1 Training Crystal, while Stamina Lotus (L) and the Legendary Heat-Resistant Ancient Armor Schematic have additional drop chances.

 Axel Hat Effects

The Axel Hat is built more like a long-lasting piece of armor than the fragile fashion pieces found among Palworld’s ordinary headgear.

Its defensive numbers are modest by endgame armor standards, but the huge durability pool means you can keep Axel’s look equipped without constantly replacing worn-out headgear.

  • 20 Defense
  • 60 Health
  • 5,000 Durability

 Axel Hat Uses

The obvious use is putting together an Axel-inspired outfit, especially if you’re going for the rough, energetic style associated with the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre.

The hat’s 5,000 Durability also makes it perfectly practical to leave equipped during normal exploration rather than treating it as something that only comes out for screenshots.

It is particularly fun for players who collect the Tower boss headgear, since each hat gives you another recognizable character look to work into your wardrobe.

How To Equip Axel Hat?

Open your inventory and head into your character’s equipment screen, where you can see the headgear currently assigned to your character.

Select Axel Hat from your available headgear and equip it, replacing the item currently occupying your character’s head slot.

Once equipped, the hat’s defensive values apply normally while your character takes on Axel’s distinctive beanie-and-hair appearance.

Verdict

Axel Hat gets the character’s look right, and that is really where its appeal lies—the lightning-patterned beanie is immediately recognizable without needing a full outfit change.

Its 5,000 Durability gives it enough staying power to be more than a novelty, although the relatively low Defense and Health keep it from competing with serious endgame helmets.

For anyone collecting the Tower rewards, though, this is one of the more visually distinctive hats in the set and a fitting prize for conquering Axel & Orserk on Hard Mode.
