After making your way to Atanos, you fought through countless corrupted Amazons before finally reuniting with Tyrael amidst the growing chaos.
Together, the two of you continued battling through the corrupted forces and eventually reached the steps leading toward the Pools of Creation.
Now, you and Tyrael must press forward and find a way deeper into the Pools of Creation before Mephisto’s influence spreads even further.
How To Get Delivering a Promise Quest?
After the completion of “The Age of Hatred” quest, where you and Tyrael fought your way to the path to the Pools of Creation, your next quest will be the “Delivering a Promise” quest.
Now that you are nearer towards your goal, the two of you must continue pushing forward through even more corrupted Amazons to pursue Mephisto.
Delivering a Promise Walkthrough
As the quest begins, head north with Tyrael until you reach the path to the Pools of Creation, and from here, you will need to fight your way through the corrupted Amazons.
There will be marked areas on the map, and you will need to head to each one to eventually reach the steps leading to the Pools of Creation.
A group of corrupted Amazons will be blocking your way, and you will need to clear them out before proceeding.
You will eventually reach the Ritual Chamber, where the Pools of Creation are just beyond a door in the same room, but there will be several Hands of Akarat in the area.
Speak to the Hand of Akarat, and this will result in them all sacrificing themselves, which spawns the Guardian of the Pools.
You will need to defeat the Guardian of the Pools before pushing forward, and after taking it down, speak to Tyrael to start a cutscene.
During the cutscene, he opens up the path to the door that is blocked by Mephisto’s corruption, creating an opportunity for you to pass. (Quest ends here)
Delivering a Promise Quest Rewards
After the cutscene where Tyrael provides you with a way to access the door, the quest will end, and this will start a new one called “The Lord of Hatred.”
In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

You and Tyrael pushed deeper toward the Pools of Creation, fighting through waves of corrupted Amazons that stood in your way.
The journey eventually led to the Ritual Chamber, where several Hands of Akarat sacrificed themselves and summoned the Guardian of the Pools to stop you.
After defeating the guardian, Tyrael stayed behind to hold back Mephisto’s corruption, allowing you to finally enter the Pools of Creation and continue the pursuit.
