After making your way to save the hostage Oracle Cyra, things became quite messy, but thanks to Tharra, you were able to get out safely.
Oracle Cyra is safe, and some of the Amazons are still themselves, but you will now need to make your way to Atanos to find Tyrael.
Mephisto’s corruption continues to spread, and it seems that what is left of the Amazons is quickly dwindling, making it necessary to hurry on your way to find your ally.
How To Get The Age of Hatred Quest?
You will obtain “The Age of Hatred” quest after you have completed the “Smothering Flame” quest, which had you rushing to the Celestia Observatory.
While you attempted to save the Amazons and convince them of who Akarat really was, it seems most of them were already lost to his influence.
The Age of Hatred Walkthrough
As the quest starts, you will need to make your way to Atanos, which is where Tyrael previously headed off to when you split up.
You will need to progress to each area marked on your map, fighting through the corrupted Amazons that are blocking your path.
This eventually brings you to a path that has been blocked off, and the only way to destroy the barricade is to use a ballista, but the one nearby is broken.
You will have to make your way to each of the marked areas to obtain Ballista Parts (3 in Total) and bring them back to the barricade.
Interact with the Ballista to repair it, and once it is functional, interact with it to fire at the barricade, which will destroy it and open up the path.
Proceed to the next marker, and you will find Tyrael as he is fighting off more of the corrupted Amazon in the area, who you will have to speak with after clearing the area.
After speaking to Tyrael, make your way to the next waypoint, and you will find the area blocked, which requires you to survive the ongoing attack.
Continue fighting off the waves of enemies until the meter labeled “Survive the Attack” is full, which will then allow you to progress.
Tyrael will then clear the way forward, and the two of you must press further until you encounter the Corrupted Amazon Commanders, whom you will need to defeat.
After defeating the Corrupted Amazon Commanders, continue making your way to the Pools of Creation, and the quest will end shortly once you reach the steps.
The Age of Hatred Quest Rewards
Once you and Tyrael have made your way to the steps after defeating the Corrupted Amazon Commanders, the quest will end, and you will receive the “Delivering a Promise” quest.
In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

- Gold

Your journey to Atanos quickly became a battle against the growing corruption spreading across the region as more Amazons fell under Mephisto’s influence.
After pushing through enemy forces, repairing the ballista, and surviving multiple attacks, you were finally able to reunite with Tyrael and continue the advance together.
With the Corrupted Amazon Commanders defeated and the path to the Pools of Creation now open, you and Tyrael may finally press forward.
