After meeting up with Tyrael and Tharra, you search for Lorath and have to take down Mephisto’s Huntsman along the way, which results in you claiming their basilisk.
You finally meet up with Lorath after the Huntsman’s Basilisk helped you track down the old man, which now sets you on the path to continue searching for the last part of the blade.
Lorath has information regarding its location, and it is believed that the blade can be found beneath the city, but many have said that out of all of those who entered, none have made it back.
How To Get A Withering Curse Quest?
A Withering Curse is obtained after the completion of the “On The Hunt” quest, which had you searching for Lorath in the market square.
This led you to fighting Mephisto’s Huntsman and the use of their basilisk to track down Lorath, so the two of you could find the underground part of the city.
A Withering Curse Walkthrough
After your recent reunion with Lorath, the two of you are to make your way to the Bowels of the Old City, which will be marked by a waypoint.
Make your way to The Cankering Center, which is where the entrance may be found, but this requires you to fight your way past other monsters in the area.
Once you have reached the entrance, you will need to speak with Lorath, who will tell you more about the underground area, and the quest will shortly come to an end.
A Withering Curse Quest Rewards
Upon your arrival at the entrance to the Bowels of the Old City, the quest will be complete, and you will receive a new quest called “The Void.”
At first, the entrance to the Bowels of the Old City will not be accessible, but shortly after speaking to Lorath, the dungeon will be open.
