You and Lorath continue the search for the final piece of Lilith’s Blade, and this has led you to the Bowels of the Old City.
Previously, the two of you fought your way to the entrance, and now that it is accessible, the two of you must enter and face whatever challenge lies ahead.
Mephisto is well aware that you already possess two pieces, and he might have something planned to stop you from obtaining the final one.
How To Get The Void Quest?
The Void becomes your next active quest in the Lord of Hatred campaign after the completion of “A Withering Curse”.
After your reunion with Lorath, the two of you made your way to the entrance of the Bowels of the Old City and will now enter it to start the search for the final piece of the blade.
The Void Walkthrough
Start by entering the Bowels of the Old City and begin exploring it until you reach a blocked door, which Lorath will attempt to open.
While Lorath is busy doing this, you will need to defend him against the waves of monsters that continue to spawn.
Continue through the dungeon until you reach another blocked path, where you must once again defend Lorath while he opens the way.
The two of you will reach a large room with a deep hole in it, which is known as The Wound in the World, and you will need to speak with Lorath to continue.
There will be an Ancient Pedestal in the next room, and after interacting with it, you will notice that the part is no longer there.
A Hand of Akarat may be seen in the distance, and you will need to go around and make your way to where they are to follow them.
Once you reach the Hand of Akarat, Mephisto will transform him into a monster, and you will need to defeat this Tormented Servant.
Defeating the Tormented Servant will cause it to drop loot, which includes the Tip of Lilith’s Blade, which you need to pick up.
Speak to Lorath after picking up the Tip of Lilith’s Blade, and the two of you will need to exit the dungeon, which will complete the quest once you are out.
The Void Quest Rewards
After leaving The Dead Reservoir (Bowels of the Old City), the quest will be complete, and you will receive the next quest called “Embers at Twilight.”
In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:
- XP
- Gold
You now possess the final piece of the blade, and the next step will be finding a way to reforge Lilith’s Blade and make it whole once more.
Verdict
After pushing deeper into the Bowels of the Old City, you and Lorath finally uncovered the final piece of Lilith’s Blade hidden within the ancient ruins.
Mephisto once again interfered through the Hands of Akarat, transforming one into a Tormented Servant that stood between you and the blade fragment.
With the final piece of Lilith’s Blade secured, the next step is to reforge the weapon and prepare to use it against Mephisto.
