Gold Coins are the main currency in Palworld and these are used to make purchases from Merchants that you find around the islands.
Sometimes you may need a large amount to purchase Pals or materials from certain merchants and this makes it good to have a good supply on hand.
One of the many ways to get them is to produce your own and this can be done at a Gold Coin Assembly Line after you have unlocked it once you have progressed in the game.
How To Unlock and Build Gold Coin Assembly Line?
The Gold Coin Assembly Line can be unlocked from your Technology Menu after you have reached Level 48 and will require 3 Technology Points.
Once the Gold Coin Assembly Line has been unlocked, you may craft it to start producing Gold Coins.
Building the Gold Coin Assembly Line will cost the following materials:
- 20 Refined Ingot
- 100 Wood
- 30 Charcoal
How To Use Gold Coin Assembly Line?
After building the Gold Coin Assembly Line, you may use it to craft Gold Coins, which will cost you 1 Ingot per 100 Gold Coins.
After selecting Gold Coin in the Gold Coin Assembly Line’s menu, you may select how many instances you want to craft and it will then be queued.
You and/or your Pals may work at the Gold Coin Assembly Line as either your character or Pals need to work at it to produce the Gold Coins. (Requires Handling Work Skill)
Alternative Ways To Get Gold Coins
While being able to craft your Gold Coins to be used for purchasing items from NPCs can be useful, there are other ways to get Gold Coins.
Gold Coins can be obtained from chests, defeated enemies as well as from selling items or Pals to Merchants.
If you have started to breed Pals and have a lot of extra ones stored, you can resort to selling some of these Pals as this can result in you getting a lot of Gold Coins.
Verdict
Gold Coins are an important currency to have in Palworld, especially when there are certain items or resources that you need to purchase.
The addition of the Gold Coin Assembly Line to Palworld makes it easy to get Gold Coins using any excess Ingots that you have on hand.
Gold Coin Assembly Lines can weigh heavily on Pals who work at them, which causes them to lose Sanity faster, which makes it important to have ways to restore it.
