After giving Itsel time to study the Burning Aether that you had collected, you are now on your way back from clearing The Dulra Breach.
You must now head back to Itsel to find out if she has come up with any results regarding the Burning Aether and if it can be used against the heretics.
Something seems to be a bit off though and you might want to hurry up and see what Itsel is planning to do next after your current progression.
Sins of the Willing Objectives:
- Return to Itsel in Zarbinzet
- Meet Itsel in the House of the Family
- Meet Itsel at the safehouse
- Learn of Itsel’s findings
- Disrupt the ritual
- Speak to Itsel
Sins of the Willing Quest Walkthrough
From where you last picked off, you will now be making your way to Zarbinzet and may speak to Itsel to proceed with your plans.
Itsel will instruct you to meet her at the House of the Family, which is where you will be able to learn about her findings.
The two of you must speak before you enter the next room, which is where a ritual appears to be happening.
Speaking to Itsel will reveal that she planned to use the Burning Aether for herself as this was her plan all along and suddenly, the other members of the house kill themselves.
Istel shouts as she claims to be the Mother’s Chosen and a surge of power called the Torment of Hatred spawns in the area while Itsel is left levitating.
You will need to destroy the enemies and stop the ritual by attacking the Torment of Hatred, which will release Itsel.
Once you have successfully disrupted the ritual, you may speak to Itsel but she will just turn you away as she wants to be left alone.
Sins of the Willing Quest Rewards
It seems that completing this quest doesn’t seem to reward you with anything other than the XP and the ability to continue progressing with the quest after receiving The Rising Hells recurring quest.
Verdict
It looks like you were betrayed, Itsel wanted the power all for herself and it is uncertain at this point if she wanted to help out.
You will need to continue gathering Mother’s Gifts before you can proceed, which should make up for the power that was supposed to be yours but was taken.
After more hard work with gathering Mother’s Gifts, it may be time to visit Locran to see what he has to say about the ritual and what else has happened.
