With the Season of the Infernal Hordes now in play, a lot of players need to gather Mother’s Gifts to progress with the seasonal questline as well as unlock rewards.
Progressing with the seasonal quest requires you to gather Mother’s Gifts in between quests and the amounts required grow as you complete each quest.
Additionally, a new feature is The Mother’s Gift, which is a ranking system that you may access by interacting with Itsel or Itsel’s Grimoire to view and receive rewards.
How To Get Mother’s Gift?
Mother’s Gifts may be obtained after you have started with the Season of the Infernal Hordes questline, which later unlocks this feature.
You will be able to get your first Mother’s Gift during the first seasonal quest called Of Lambs and Wolves, where you meet Locran and Itsel.
Following the first seasonal quest, you will be tasked with obtaining Mother’s Gifts as you progress through the storyline.
Best Ways To Farm Mother’s Gifts
1) The Infernal Hordes
The Infernal Hordes is the latest activity for players to participate in, which has them fight against waves of enemies to obtain both Mother’s Gifts and Burning Aether.
Entering the Infernal Hordes requires that you use an Infernal Horde Compass, allowing you to enter hell to fight demonic forces.
Several elites will appear as you progress through each of the waves, guaranteeing a large amount of Mother’s Gifts.
2) Helltide Enemies and Blood Maiden
The Helltide is known to bring about powerful enemies from hell, and this includes several elite enemies that will drop Mother’s Gifts.
One of the best ways during Helltide Events would be to collect Baneful Hearts and use these to summon the Blood Maiden.
Fighting the Blood Maiden will result in a lot of elite enemies spawning and defeating her will yield a lot of Mother’s Gifts.
You can find elite enemies by roaming and participating in events within the Helltide areas, which will provide you with Mother’s Gifts as well.
3) Hellbreach Dungeons
Hellbreach dungeons are a new type of dungeon that you can clear out and these only take a few minutes to do, especially when you have a good build going.
You will encounter multiple elite enemies as you make your way to the end, which will eventually have you face off to defeat the Hell Caller.
The Hell Caller will not only drop valuable loot but defeating this enemy will also provide you with a good amount of Mother’s Gifts. (You also get more loot from Spoils of Hell chests)
4) Fields Of Hatred
The Fields of Hatred is another good choice when it comes to farming Mother’s Gifts as there are several elite enemies that you encounter.
Enemies respawn quite fast, and you can also farm Seeds of Hatred that you may turn into Red Dust by activating an Altar of Extraction.
The Seething Abomination will spawn now and then within the Fields of Hatred and may be slain for a lot of Mother’s Gifts.
Mother’s Gifts Uses
Mother’s Gifts act as part of a points system that allows you to progress through the seasonal questline and later obtain rewards.
Rewards that you earn can be accessed in Zarbinzet by interacting with Islet or Islet’s Grimoire, which will show each tier and how many Mother’s Gifts you need.
Once you have accumulated a certain amount of Mother’s Gifts to reach each tier, you will be able to claim various rewards.
