Scyotid is a secondary weapon introduced in the Isleweaver Update, capable of firing Toxin Barbs or lobbing a projectile that can pull enemies together.
Its secondary fire functions as a crowd control ability, while its solid base Status Chance makes it great for priming targets.
With the right build, Scyotid can be used to deal damage, control groups, or both, making it a versatile choice in any loadout.
Scyotid Builds
1) Scyotid Status Build
Our Scyotid Status Build is one that players may often start with since enemies can be both ensnared and may be inflicted with Status Effects.
With the Frostbite, Pistol Pestilence, Scorch, and Jolt in different arrangements, you get a large increase in Status Chance and gain Elemental Damage combinations.
This build is perfect for trapping your enemies in webs while also applying Status Effects, which also make your targets take more damage if you have Condition Overload with your Melee Weapon.
2) Scyotid Primer Trap Build
Focused more on being a way to provide any Warframe with the ability to trap enemies using this weapon’s secondary, this build can end up working wonders.
With increased Status Chance, you can easily inflict different Status Effects onto your enemies, while Multishot has been increased to affect more targets.
This is perfect for Warframes that need to prime their enemies or for those who would love to have a way to trap enemies and turn them into easy targets.
3) Scyotid Critical Build
This build focuses mainly on Critical Damage, increasing your Critical Chance and Critical Damage Multiplier, so you can deal damage from Critical Hits and Status Effects.
Primed Target Cracker and Primed Pistol Gambit work well when you want to increase your Critical Chance and Damage, while Lethal Torrent and Galvanized Diffusion add Multishot.
The goal with this build is to throw several projectiles in a shorter amount of time to score Critical Hits on your enemies and capitalize on the different ways to damage them.
4) Scyotid Hybrid Build
While a Critical Build is decent on its own and the Status Build is perfect for priming enemies, a Hybrid Build can be utilized to give you the best of both worlds.
Frostbite, Scorch, Jolt, and Pistol Pestilence have been added to the build for more damage and Status Chance, while Primed Pistol Gambit and Primed Target Cracker boost your Critical Potential.
This build allows you to deal Critical Damage to enemies and may often result in you inflicting them with Status Effects.
