This is what Riot-848 does and with the right builds, this weapon can unleash devastating amounts of damage in mere seconds.
Featuring decent stats, including a good amount of Critical Chance and Status Chance, this weapon can deal wonders when equipped with the right Mods.
Riot-848 Builds
1) Riot-848 Critical Rounds (Critical Chance and Damage Build)
Critical Damage has always been popular with certain weapons and the Riot-848 is no exception, which is due to its decent base Critical Chance.
Primed Pistol Gambit and Primed Target Cracker have been added as the main Critical Chance and Critical Damage Mods while Lethal Torrent and Galvanized Diffusion provide Multishot.
This build includes 2 Elemental Damage Mods that you can replace along with Augur Pact for a boost to the overall base damage of the weapon.
When shooting at enemies, the Critical Chance will be quite high, but things don’t just stop there because when rounds return from their targets, the explosions also have Critical Chance.
2) Riot-848 Status Rounds (Status Chance Build)
Focusing more on Status Chance, this build was meant to both deal damage and inflict your targets with Status Effects depending on how the Mods are arranged.
What makes this build useful is that not only do the initial hits have a high chance to trigger Status Effects, but the returning rounds also feature the same effects.
This makes it impossible for enemies not to be inflicted with Status Effects and depending on which elements you choose, this can be a great advantage.
Galvanized Diffusion remains in the build for Multishot while Galvanized Shot has been added to increase the Status Chance even further and to provide additional damage.
3) Riot-848 Hybrid Rounds (Critical and Status Chance Build)
Our Hybrid Rounds Build focuses on both dealing Critical Damage along with inflicting status effects on your enemies, combining mods from the two previous builds.
Primed Target Cracker has been paired with Creeping Bullseye, but you can replace them with similar mods if you prefer to do so as we fitted things in based on our Polarity Slots.
Critical Damage can occur when your rounds hit your targets and they can also be inflicted with Status Effects but it doesn’t stop here, both Critical Damage and Status Effects can trigger when reloading.
Since the damage from the initial shots and from the small explosions when reloading scale with your Mods, enemies are surely to suffer from this build.
4) Barrage Build (Fire Rate and Reload Speed Build)
Since Riot-848 deals damage with its initial projectiles and another set of damage when the rounds return, having a quick Rate of Fire and Reload Speed can be fun in missions.
This build causes the weapon to quickly unload its magazine only to be reloaded in an instant before repeating the barrage of rounds at your enemies.
This makes it possible to deal continuous damage to your targets and with this build, we decided to go for Critical Chance and Critical Damage mods, but these can be replaced with Status Mods.
Verdict
Riot-848 has its Punch Through locked and cannot be modded to penetrate enemies since its rounds stick to the enemies that it hits.
This machine pistol deals a good amount of damage when modded correctly and with its ability to warp rounds back to its magazine to deal extra damage, it becomes even deadlier.
Focusing on the damage dealt with each shot and the returning rounds helps maximize the amount of damage you can deal with Riot-848.
