The EFV-5 Jupiter is one of the weapons that were introduced in the Techrot Encore Update, which was previously seen being used by Scaldra Jaegers in Warframe 1999.
Now that this Scaldra Assault Rifle can come into the hands of the Tenno, you may now use the Scaldra’s weapon against them as well as against other enemies you encounter.
Featuring Corrosive Rounds and a Buckshot Alternative Fire that has a guaranteed Corrosion Status Effect, this weapon can be quite the tool in different missions.
EFV-5 Jupiter Builds
1) Critical Corrosion (Critical Damage Build)
Our Critical Corrosion build is mainly focused on dealing Critical Damage thanks to the Mods added to boost both the Critical Chance and Critical Multiplier of the weapon.
Primed Pistol Gambit and Primed Target Cracker will bring the Critical Chance to 52.5% while the Critical Multiplier jumps to 5.1x for even more damage.
Galvanized Chamber and Galvanized Scope have been added to the build for Multishot as well as to increase the Critical Chance when you score headshots.
Swapping out Hellfire and Cryo Rounds for similar Mods will allow you to change the Damage Type and this can be suitable for different factions.
2) Corrosive Status Rounds (Status Chance Build)
This weapon features a base 25% Status Chance, which is enough to work with if you want to go for a build that focuses on Status Chance.
We have equipped all 4 Elemental Damage and Status Chance mods to add 2 additional Elemental Combinations to the build. (As seen above there is Corrosive, Radiation, and Viral Damage)
With this build, you will not just be able to prime your enemies, you also deal a lot of increased damage to your targets.
Thanks to Galvanized Aptitude, the weapon will be capable of dealing more damage based on how many Status Effects your enemies suffer from.
3) Hybrid Corrosion Rounds (Critical and Status Chance Build)
You can’t go wrong with Hybrid Builds as they are great for both dealing more damage and inflicting Status Effects on your targets.
While the EFV-5 Jupiter can already cause the Corrosion Status Effect to trigger with its Alternate Fire, being able to do the same with other Damage Types can do wonders.
This build is meant to weaken your enemies or deal damage over time as you continue to fire at them and get several critical hits in.
Modifying the Elemental Damage and Status Mods (Malignant Force and Rime Rounds) in this build can be done by swapping in other similar mods.
Verdict
Using the EFV-5 Jupiter in missions can be either as a primer or as a main weapon, depending on which Mods you equip it with as you can always make use of its high Status Chance.
Equipping certain Mods will allow you to have 3 Elemental Combinations, which can make applying Status Effects deadly for enemies since they can suffer from several at the same time.
When certain mods are equipped on this assault rifle, both the Primary Fire and Alternate Fire may be affected and this can come in handy if you use both firing methods for different situations.
