Turtacle Terra is a Ground variation of Turtacle, and both of these Pals were added when the Tides of Terraria update was released.
This Pal features similarities to its original variant aside from its element being changed to Water and Ground type, giving it different Active Skills.
Aside from its Partner Skill being the same and having different options for Active Skills, Turtacle Terra also boosts the combat effectiveness of your Ground Pals.

Turtacle Terra is mainly obtained through fishing, and if you happen to be traveling around the Dessicated Dunes, you are likely to find a Fishing Spot where it can be caught.
Searching around the Dessicated Dunes for Fishing Spots near the shores of the island will give you a good chance to catch this Pal.

Turtacle Terra Uses
Turtacle Terra features the same uses when it comes to working at a base, but when it comes to battle, its Active Skills are a combination of Water and Ground options.
When left at a base, Turtacle Terra can help out with certain tasks, including Watering, and can even fight back when enemies tend to attack.
If you happen to bring Turtacle Terra along with you as you explore, you will be less burdened by the pieces of armor that you carry, thanks to its Partner Skill.
