When the Tides of Terraria update was released, Palworld gained new features, and included amongst these are the Pal Surgery Table.
Thanks to this structure, you can use Implants to alter the Passive Skills of your Pals, but at the start, these are limited to certain ones until more are unlocked.
By doing certain activities in Palworld, there are currencies that can be obtained, which can later be used to purchase more Implants from specific vendors.
How To Get More Implants?
1) Purchase From Vigilante Bounty Officer
You may find Vigilante Bounty Officers in certain areas around the Palpagos Islands, and interacting with them will allow you to exchange Successful Bounty Tokens for items.
Some of these items that can be purchased include Implants, and each of these will cost you 30 Successful Bounty Tokens, making it necessary to have 90 to purchase all of them.
The following Implants may be purchased from a Vigilante Bounty Officer:
- Musclehead
- Burly Body
- Artisan
2) Purchase From the Arena Merchant
Battle Tickets became a trend when the Tides of Terraria update was released due to the rewards that they can be used to purchase.
Amongst these rewards are more useful Implants that you can purchase using Battle Tickets to use later at the Pal Surgery Table.
The Arena Merchant sells the following Implants that cost 50 Battle Tickets each:
- Serenity
- Infinite Stamina
- Runner

Implant Uses
Implants add more options to the Pal Surgery Table when it comes to altering their Passive Skills, which give you more options for a Pal’s build.
Once an Implant has been obtained, it will permanently be available at the Pal Surgery Table and will be reusable for as many times as you like.
Implants provide you with a decent way to give your Pals specific Passive Skills that can either be useful for breeding or create the perfect Pal for the task you have in mind.
Verdict
While the starting options at a Pal Surgery Table may seem limited, the addition of extra Implants will allow you to alter your Pals to a certain extent.
These can be helpful depending on what Passive Skills you want your Pals to have, and when it comes to combat, Musclehead is useful while Artisan is good for worker Pals.
Depending on the Passive Skills you want to mix and match, you can either go with a specific set or prepare Pals for breeding to pass hand-picked ones to their offspring.
