With the release of the Feybreak Update, the Bounty System was added to Palworld and this provides a whole new reward system for chasing after wanted criminals.
Hunting down bounties can be rewarding but to reap your rewards, you will need to find the Vigilante Bounty Officers who you can get them from.
Vigilante Bounty Officers offer rewards that you can purchase with the use of Successful Bounty Tokens, which are obtained by defeating the Bounties.
Where To Find Vigilante Bounty Officers?
You can find Vigilante Bounty Officers in the towns, which makes it quite easy to find them since all you need to do is travel to them fast.
Some of the places you will want to head to to exchange your Successful Bounty Tokens for rewards would be the following locations:
- Small Settlement
- Dune Shelter
- Fisherman’s Points
What Do Vigilante Bounty Officers Do?
Speaking to a Vigilante Bounty Officer will prompt you with an introductory dialogue where the officer will suggest you use your skills to take down bounties.
After the initial dialogue, you will be able to choose “Exchange” which will open the menu that allows you to exchange Successful Bounty Tokens for rewards.
Selecting the “Leave” option after the dialogue instead of “Exchange” will instead end the conversation with the Vigilante Bounty Officer.
Vigilante Bounty Officers serve as the rewards shop for those who have defeated bounties, allowing you to purchase items from their stock when you have enough tokens.
Vigilante Bounty Officer Locations
In the Small Settlement, you can find a Vigilante Bounty Officer just as you make your way into the area coming from the waypoint.
You will find another Vigilante Bounty Officer at Dune Shelter and once you teleport to the settlement, he can be found right before you reach the Wandering Merchants.
Another Vigilante Bounty Officer is located in Fisherman’s Port right after the PIDF Slacker, who is the first guard near the waypoint.
How To Take Down Bounties?
Bounties can be found all around the Palpagos Islands and once you explore an area where they spawn, their location will be marked on your map.
Defeating Bounties will cause them to drop certain items, which will always include Successful Bounty Tokens. (Bounties with higher levels provide more loot and tokens)
Like Alpha Pals that have fixed locations, the Bounties will respawn in the same spots and may be defeated whenever they are around. (This allows you to farm tokens)
Exchanging Successful Bounty Tokens
Once you have enough Successful Bounty Tokens, you may interact with a Vigilante Bounty Officer to purchase items with them.
The Vigilante Bounty Officer will often have Gold Coins, Ancient Pal Manuscripts, High Grade Technical Manuals, and Stat Fruits.
Using Successful Bounty Tokens is one of the two ways that you can get Ancient Pal Manuscripts, which are necessary for the Pal Labor Research Laboratory upgrades.
Verdict
As you progress through the game, it would be a good idea to rack up as many Successful Bounty Tokens as possible for Ancient Pal Manuscripts and Stat Fruits.
The fastest way to get to a Vigilante Bounty Officer would be to teleport to one of the settlements, which is where they can be found.
Farming Successful Bounty Tokens can be done without talking to a Vigilante Bounty Officer first and you can instead just seek them out when you have a lot of tokens.
